Hi Rob, we invest a lot of money making these videos. I hope that shows in terms of the quality of the restaurant and also the videos themselves. We give careful consideration to which restaurants we choose to review as our videos require a great deal of time and effort to produce. Hence, it makes no sense to review a place that is bad. Hi Brian, Do you get paid by the hotel or restaurant for making the videos? Your videos remind me of the property videos. Very pretty, bleached out, slow pans that showcase the property to entice the watcher to purchase or rent the property. It would be good to know if you are being paid by the restaurant or hotel that you are reviewing.

I think that your producer Nut does an amazing job. The videos are very polished. Maybe he does too good of a job that the videos look like an infomercial? It must take a tremendous amount of time for you to set everything up, film, and edit. Have you considered a less bleached out, less set up, and more realistic look like Mark Wiens? It would make your videos have a more authentic and natural feel.

Rob Vira I think this is Brian and Babe’s style. Their videos are elegant and informative and aesthetically pleasing. It’s actually pretty hard to find this style of videos on high end restaurants in Bangkok. I seriously think hotels and restaurants should start paying money for these fabulous videos:)

Lol I'm amazed at some of the places I've seen and the costs to enjoy. I'm wondering if the wait staff you had is paid above the average wage of a Thai. Hi Stephen, we do spend a great deal of money on our channel as we are passionate about food and making videos. We do reviews part time only but if we could we would go full time. Regarding wait staff salaries it is my understanding that most hotels share services fees among all staff but I’m not 100% sure. Thanks for watching.
