Okay, just tried this. Created an account to try it out. You have to answer a bunch of INTRUSIVE questions before they let you sign up. Then you log in, and all the selections you made - avatar, voice etc - disappear, and you have to start again. Except now there are fewer options (you can't select the accent or the voice, for example, just the avatar). There's a TEN WORD limit, which is ridiculous. But anyway, I typed in a ten word message - and it told me that I had exceeded the ten word limit (I counted my words again: I hadn't). So I typed in a six word message... and it told me I couldn't generate a video until I'd selected a voice. So I opened the "Voice Options" dropdown, and there was only one option, which was "No Voice Options". Tried a couple of times, but no luck. Then a message appeared asking me if I'd like to try the non-beta version. So I selected that. More hoops to jump through, but it finally gave me a three or four second video. Two of the six words I'd entered were pronounced wrongly by the avatar (who didn't look even remotely lifelike or realistic). Verdict? Primitive software. Clunky. Very like software I was using ten or fifteen years ago, but worse. Advice? Don't waste your money.
