I am using Optimus 65 since 2019. Humidity controller is not a gimmick if you know what you are doing. Humidity controller helps adjust speed at which the water is being sent to the ice chamber and in turn to the pads. On the driest of days, we can use it at full speed. But when the humidity is in 40-55 range, it helps with maintaining humidity in the house and it doesn't become too muggy. It also helps if you are using the cooler overnight since it ensures that water does not finish by morning (so water pump is not damaged).

Cooler ki ek badi dikkat hai humidity wo koi nhi solve kr skta, haan dehumidifier ke sath combine kre toh bdia hai. I had Crompton cooler sab acha hai... totally agreed..2 year phele liya the mene..but ek major issue hai iske sath.... cleaning it's pad and servicing off motor iss a pain ...u have to deasamble the whole cooler for cleaning...that's the only major cons..other wise it's a jam....off a cooler...ise vjha se symphony 115xl book kiya...iss sal...
