A word of advice to all who are interviewing at Amazon. I did my first three interviews and all the interviewers complimented me on how well I was prepared. Right before the last interview. I received an email stating that I was no longer being considered. No explination given. After trying to contact them to find out what went wrong, so I could be even better prepared for wherever I interview next, they did not even bother to contact me back. Very sad. So, just know that if you are no longer being considered, you wll not be given a reason. They just send an email and thats it. If any of my colleagues or friends inform me they are thinking about applying at Amazon, I would do all I can to change their minds.

Hi Holly, thank you so much for a very informative video, I have a question, if i already passed the hr call and manager call and were to move on to the loop interview ( i havent done the loop interview yet ), is it possible to withdraw and if i do, could i re-apply again after 1 year or two? Or should I go all the way and decline later? I really love the job but now might not be the right time for me.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time to interview unless I'm ready to join.

Hi Holly, I have a question about recruiting process. When you post a job posting, you receiver tons of resumes. Did you read every single resume? Or are they first filtered by ATS, and then you read them? Also, If I am referred, does it guarantee you will take look at my resume? (I got referred for Amazon, so I appreciate your answer!!)

Great question! Recruiters do not read every resume if it doesn’t hit the keyword search for the role. You can defer to my “what recruiters look for in a resume” video.

Hi Holly, I wanted to ask you is it okay to remove full time experience from resume for amazon background check after interview since I've concern of that company wind-up and I've no connection or contact with it

Good questions. I wouldn’t remove work history that would show a gap in employment, as background check are very general and your current/previous employers are not allow to provide negative feedback.

Hello, 3 days after my Amazon LOOP interview, I received an Email from the recruiter congratulating me on the positive feedback for my interview, but unfortunately unable to offer me the position because someone else filled the position. I noticed that the position was no longer available even before my LOOP. They said that they will put me in the bench pool and that if available position comes, they will contact all the people in the bench pool before making the position public. I am worried, hope they will remember to get back to me? I practiced really so hard for this LOOP

I have little bit of speech stammering not much visible like a covert and got a techincal interview with Amazon , is it good idea to disclose this to the interviewer , to remain honest ?

Holly,I had a loop interview with Amazon. Very unpleasant. The interviewer was horrible and she kept asking me to give me a better example and was very aggressive. It was an entry level job with no experience.

I passed the phone screen without a system design. I am wondering if they can still surprise me with 'draw me system design' in the loop interviews? Sr. TPM position
