your forgetting something, currently france only really good CAS planes are both br. 12.7 in ground, this new mirage sits at 12.0 in ground, alowing you for downtiers below 12.0, that can be a tactical advantage. Not sure how used to the game you are, but what you say makes you look stupid.

The “AV-8S” is straight up just a copy paste US AV-8A premium. They stripped it of anything that made it the AV-8S. It uses a missile it never used, and has the wrong radar, and more.

@@norske_ow3440 Close as I can figure... AIM-9J would be the only missile Thailand had, at the time, that a Harrier could launch. Spain sold their nine surviving AV-8S Matadors to Thailand in 1997 (which is why this plane is on the Japanese tree). As far as I know they only ever had one operational air-frame between 1999 and 2003, and it's not known how it was armed, or even if it ever was. They were all finally struck off in 2006, with none of them having flown since 2003.

In my opinion, the F117 as a squadron vehicle was spot on. I mean, you can grind it without grinding it and it's not a thing that you Actually Need to put money to get it. I mean, the F117 is very iconic, looks great, but we all knew it was going to be 'shit' in game since it's a lot more of a meme vehicle than something you actually hope to do well or at least decent in War Thunder. Imagine grinding trough the F117 to get some other plane, or having to pay for a plane that's in game a literal flying meme, hahahaha. As a squadron vehicle, everybody have access to it as soon as they first start, and then they don't even need to buy it. To me, perfect decision by Gaijin there, I was honestly surprised when I first saw it was going to be a squadron vehicle and not a weird event grind or premium. I don't like to praise Gaijin very much though, as a player that's with the game since year one or two of the game, Gaijin did a lot of bad decisions in the past, but I think they deserve praise when they do things right. As for the Viggen, to me the major issue with it is not the flight performance, though it's not great anymore, it's ok. The real problem to me it's the RWR. It is So bad, so confused and never knows properly where stuff is coming from, then you pair the bad RWR with teamates that still don't know how to use radar properly, always locking on allies because then can't properly set the radar, then the RWR in the Viggen go nuts, it's very unrelyable, but, besides all of that, most of the times I don't die in it because of Fox 3, but because of IR. The very few times so far I got killed by Fox 3 in the Viggen was actually with missiles coming from literaly above, and the RWR don't know how to register that kind of launch, so it's hard to avoid that kind of launch, but so far, every Fox 3 coming from a direction more or less horizontal to the Viggen I was able to evade by using terrain or dumping chaff, so, to me at least, it is a decent plane, but not meta at all. I could see it droping .3 in BR on the next BR changes, not because the plane itself is bad, but because the stock grind is not great and the premium might not help the win rate, but if it drops by .7, than I think it could become a bit overpowered since it would bring Fox 3 to a BR where people don't spect it yet. I think this was a decent update, and the F15E will definitely make people from every other nation to want something similar in performance, since despite the SU34 being amazing, it's no match to the F15E currently in game. So I now wonder how long will it take for something that tops the F15E and Su34 comes, they might be the new F4E vs Mig21 Bis meta in WT, since those took a Long Time to finally have some some true competition and be surpassed in performance. So far, every other top tier is good sidegrade to them and are better at specific things, but being great at Everything, then only those 2 at the moment. I think we reached a new platou and will keep at this meta for a while...

The AV-8S is called Early on the stat card meaning the late version will likely be added. Thailand equipped their AV-8S's aka Matadors with AIM-9P-4s which are all aspect (Spain sold them the Harriers and likely some AIM-9P stock with them in 1997. The AV-8S is the best out of the 3 Premium 9.7 Harriers (Obviously the AV-8B NA is the best Premium Harrier out of all Premium Harriers but that is 11.7) as it has Countermeasures and a solid RWR, the AV-8A has the AIM-9G's for long range work whilst the Harrier GR 1 has the SRAAMs and the SNEBS for close in work. The AV-8S completely replaces the T2 Early at 9.7 as it has everything the T-2 doesn't have except a radar

viggen itself isnt too bad imo but its not new players friendly and top tier matches are so fast that you have no chance to learn anything effectively since there is so much going on. it feel alot more fun to fly in SIM than RB anyway, RB you face ALOT newest F15,F16,Su-27's and F14's with fuckyou 90's

Honestly it feels like the air premiums are getting worse and worse the higher they go. Between the f-20 and now these new premiums we're past the point of dimishing returns. it is not worth $75-$80 to fly some of the worst planes in the game just so you can earn a pittance of extra rp because you wont be getting many kills with these. But at the same time they're avoiding putting in OP vehicles as premiums to avoid the pay to win allegations but over correct by giving us below subpar vehicles.

@@SiskoSvK in what way are we talking pay to win? because they kinda have the right idea about how premiums should be now. the new viggin they added is just a premium version of the one in the tech tree, but its such an abysmal plane to fly that any normal person would skip playing after researching it yet they want 80 bucks for it. they could have chosen a better plane that was at the very least decent. not the best the nation has to off but not the worst either. some of the most OP premiums in the game are vehicles were prototypes or type secret stuff that was never battle tested but given broken stats. Those are the kind of vehicles that shouldnt be premiums, but premiums also should not be vehicles where you basically wasted your money. Vehicles like the Mig-21 Bison is a good example of decent premiums.
