I wish some of the specs, or pros/cons mentioned were shared for each phone, not just one or the other. You mentioned android updates through 2023 for the pixel 4a but not for the others. You mentioned SD card slot for the Galaxy FE but not others. Great low light camera performance for the S21 Ultra but not others.

Well I guess the S10 series or the note 9 had every feature like an iris scanner a heart rate sensor and headphone jack. The S10 series doesn't have an iris scanner though but has an ultrawide lens. Ooh they have the sd card slot and mst tech too.

You can buy the Note20Ultra and get the real Spen experience as it's meant to be not this bootleg Spen on the S21Ultra which lacks the Note20Ultra spen features but you have to pay 60 dollars for a fake Spen and case. They must think people are stupid like iPhone users.

I think that if an OEM has not released a 2021 phone yet then you can count the previous year's phone, as many YT creators do when they compare last year's iPhone with the 2021 S21 line. I think that price is def a factor, even more in these days of COVID and a Global downturn, so comparing the expensive new S21 line with phones at half the price is fair and worthy; the S20FE has been at £450 on eBay (new) so it would be hard for me at that price to buy an S21+ at £950! So I do agree the s20FE is still one of the better phones you can buy if you are a Samsung fan. and conversley the s21+ is a poor buy ATM.

I got the Pixel 4A 5G for only a fraction more than 4A. I tested it against Samsung S21+ and it beats it hands down for regular scenarios and lacks terribly in zooming capabilities! (But who is zooming eh?) Best bang for the buck!

All phones are the same these days. Only different phones are the z fold 2, z flip, Motorola razor and LG wing. If you don't buy one of these then doesn't matter what phone you buy.

Blah, I'll put LG's flagship against any of these (LG V60 ThinQ 5G). Also, it's about the only one left that has a proper headphone jack, and micro SD. Screen, Camera, battery, etc. is on par with the top phones out there as well. Heck, you can even get it with a case that has a second, identical screen as well (which is very useful for many applications, joystick screen for gaming, second screen shopping, video meeting while taking notes, etc.). And, it is not even worthy of a mention here? Well, that is just not a credible review in my book.

LG has a terrible reputation with both hardware and software support. They burned a lot of their users and broke trust. I could never recommend people a phone that doesn't receive good support. No matter how many hardware specs they throw at it. The V60 also wasn't available in many countries as well. Furthermore, the screen and camera on the V60 is only 1080p at 60Hz, camera is good, but not on par with the iPhone, Pixel or Galaxy. I don't think it's on par with top phones out.

I've had a few lg phones and treated them like kings and queens . They have insane screen burn ins , battery swelling , and they are pretty slow. Camera quality also wasn't great. I swapped to the s10 plus and then to the one plus 7 pro. Getting anew phone this year deciding which phone to get and being patient until they are all out .

A warning to those considering onePlus: the camera is VERY unreliable. Look up how many have issues with camera failures. You get page after page. My 5t camera failed almost month after the warranty expired. Makes me wonder if this was deliberate. Again, this seems to happen more with onePlus than any android OS phones out there.

Tbh, I take issue with the way some of these tech review site talk about the price of phone. Nobody ever talks about Samsung excellent trade in value. I could probably trade in my note 10+ and get about 600 off a new Samsung phone. Tat kind of defeats the purpose of buying a fan edition phone.

There's a lot of aspects can be judged when it comes to smartphone camera from main cam, ultrawide, telephoto zoom, front cam, video performance on each lens, bitrate, camera software etc. What I want to say, there's not one phone deserve the title as "The Best Camera" because each of them got its own perks and quirks. Like when people say iPhone cameras are the best. Well it's true especially in video but also not in some aspect like zoom and ultrawide. Same with Pixel trumps picture quality thanks to its brilliant image processing but mediocre video performance. Huawei is great at introducing revolutionary camera hardware (first night mode, first periscope zoom, first 10x periscope), picture quality is great but those cutting edge tech were great when it first introduced but rivals quickly refined it and easily surpassed Huawei. Like night mode on Pixel and iPhone looks better & more appropriate as night photo, not like crazy bright like it become day photo on Huawei. Zoom picture too, now that S21 Ultra has debuted. It's easily better zoom camera than on P40 and Mate 40. Zoomed pic has more detail and way better stabilization. Also not many mention this, video from Huawei flagships is typically worse than its camera pedigree. Video has blown out exposure, oversaturated colours. The issue from what I know is due to some weird codec Huawei using but still it looks awful from reviews I've watched so far. I see that most peoples that are saying Huawei better than this and that are mostly hearing from what peoples saying, believing hype without making objective judgement from watching multiple reviews, hence your commentary. Yes they build innovative camera hardware but when compared with other phones, it's not easy win as what its spec suggest.

@@obidean3964 sorry for the delayed respose I dont check YT notifications. I agree that there is not one smartphone camera that is the best at everything. Huawei's video game had not been too notch but they are catching up. But for photos, there are only 2 winners in my books. Huawei and Google. This is not based on reading some comments or reviews online, I always assess and score the samples myself. In my books, only Huawei and Google produces natural looking images, meaning, similar to an actual camera. They are not perfect, no, but they are the closest to real camera in terms of processing. You take any other company, Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, all has processing artifacts and unnatural sharpening applied that ruins it. Not to say they are bad images, but they aren't REALISTIC. Between Huawei & Google, I say Huawei because it has versatility of many focal lengths ,google only has 2. For videos, Iphone all the way but Huawei has been catching up. So overall, best camera in a Smartphone goes to Huawei flagships of the year for me. My reviews are not based on dxo mark scores n all that, I dont even care. These are my own assesments over many images,, closely inspected

I have to laugh at the price tag of some of these phones. who is going to pay thousands of dollars for a brick that will be obsolete in 2 years? they are almost identical functionally to phones under $300. they are still charging new phone prices on phones 3 to 5 years old as well. phone companies have either lost their minds or have enough sheep buying mindlessly that they don't even research, its become a status symbol and not a functional device. I use to make fun of Apple users for that sort of thing but now companies like Samsung have them too.

Pixel 5 sucks. I'm watching this video right now to find a new phone to replace my daily driver Google Pixel 5. I have every Google phone since they started making them. I currently own every Google pixel XL device one through four so naturally I got the five but no XL was a big no no. Can't stand this small laggy piece of crap pixel 5. It's junk. Save ur money. Maybe the Pixel 6 XL will be worth it. I'm hoping anyway. Pixel 5 does have good battery life I will say that. But then again maybe mine lasts so long because I never use it. I have to carry two phones around because I use my Pixel 3 XL for media everyday at work since I hate my Pixel 5 which is my actual phone.
