The Pixel 6's would be awesome if they weren't a buggy mess. My vanilla 6 had the dreaded Signal Drop bug. 14 bug reports to Google over 2 days with zero answers. They told me that they would have a solution in 24 hours, then 72 and lastly "when we have a solution." They also refused to replace it under RMA. Sold it and likely won't use another Pixel after being a die hard fan since the P2

My Note-10's display gave away recently and I had to hurriedly buy a new phone that would fit my budget. I chose the S21-FE without much research and boy I am pleasantly surprised 😮 I think this could very well be a nice flagship alternative without hurting one's pocket too much

I don't think that the s22 has an inferior display to that of the s22+ since it has a ppi count of 425 whereas the s22+'s ppi count is 393. Granted the difference is probably not that noticeable for most people.

Not to say it's wrong cause some people probably do but The most recent update fixed a lot of problems with the pixel 6 and 6 pro for a majority of people. If you're still having problems that sucks but a larger percentage of people have improvements as for me it's been fine since day one.

@@RandomPNW I hear you that's awful I did have something similar once it went away after an update though. When I pulled down the notification shade it left a see though patch where the finger print sensor is where you can see the content of the app. It also did that time to time when getting a notification. About the wifi problem I would suggest a couple of things if you havent tried them I'm sure you've tried all the basic reset hacks so I'm going to skip that and back up all your data and try a factory reset update the pixel to the lastest patch if you still have issues try joining the pixel beta program if you're still having issues make sure you phone is backed up opt out and get a new model of the pixel 6, if that doesn't work get an S21+ or S22+ you may just want to do the last thing and I wouldn't blame you but it's a nice device. Question though did you order your device from the Google Store?

S22+ is too much money over the S22 standard only offering a bigger screen and battery for over £200 more might as well just get the Ultra at the point.
@micahjohnson91842 жыл бұрын
True but, Maybe that extra battery is worth it though and on Google Fi you can get it for $699.99 I'd say just look for deals, Samsung offers loads of trade in's as well.
@bradavon2 жыл бұрын
You'd think so but actually no. The bigger battery is a major difference and the S22 Ultra is just a different beast of a phone. It's significantly wider and boxier, has a stylus that's not for everyone. I actually bought the S22 Ultra and I sent back. I'm now on the S21 Ultra (same size screen but significantly easier to use) because the S22+ is to cut down. But no question I'd take the S22+ over S22 Ultra every time. The S21 Ultra is just to unusable a design. It's done because it stands out, not for usability. Yes I know people like it, people have always liked the Note design but they're a minority of phone buyers.

I really want the Pixel 5a and was about to buy it because I need to upgrade (due to running out of storage after 5 years on my insane Oppo R17 pro with 20 min full charge speed, 2 day battery life, NFC, it has a magic eraser etc etc etc) but it is only available on 128g storage and that's IT and that just is not good enough for me. My R17 is maxed out at 128g so if I do a data transfer, then the 5a will be maxed out before I even use it. I am unbelievably bummed about this because I finally found the PERFECT phone for me with everything I want and need, at the price point I want as well. I don't need top of the line. I did upgrade end of last year to a S21 Ultra, and had it replaced TWICE and eventually just sent it back because it was so bad, it felt like a DOWNGRADE from my 2017 Oppo. I thought I'd go for the 5a and if I loved it, I'd stick with it as long as the memory lasted (thinking 256g at least) and if not then I thought they would have upped the game at least a bit by the time I am ready to upgrade to premium (and hopefully lowered prices). I'm expecting to get a top range phone with all the specs, ACTUAL fast charging to match my 5 yr old Oppo & equal battery life. Until they bring something out like that too range flagship, I refuse to get one and would rather go mid range cos the battery performs better with lower specs

I sent my S22 Ultra back. Terrible! Samsung basically destroys Android with nonsense. Among the many issues I had with it. I will say a few things here... The UI is terrible. They have no idea how to make anything look aesthetically pleasing. A smaller issue was the wireless charging was ridiculous with the camera lens placement on a flat wireless charger, which requires awkward and slow placement of the phone to avoid it resting on the bottom most lens. A vertical charger is probably problematic as well.
@bradavon2 жыл бұрын
OneUI is one of the most popular Android launchers. OneUI is also one of the most cohesive aesthetically pleasing Android UXs too. It sounds like the Pixel 6 Pro would work well for you. I can see wireless charging being a problem though.
