Thank you for the demonstration that was fascinating. I purchased Musk Rose from the Arabian OUD store in Houston. I like it for a nice everyday scent for the office environment, but the scent does not project. I want to try more but the selection is overwhelming.

I do love some of the Arabian perfumes! I had a chance to go to Triple Traders in Chicago and that is where I got most of my perfumes from! Also in Dallas I went to an Arabian fragrance shop! It was amazing. My Father use to say the darker the berry the sweeter the juice! ❤He was speaking on beautiful black Queens! ❤

Resalah definitely reminds me of shaghaf oud but it’s more well blended imo. Another perfume that’s worth to try from arabian oud is madawi and madawi gold. I believe tht madawi gold is the signature scent for Sofia Vergara. I saw a video in her closet for her house tour, saw this beautiful bottle on her countertop. It’s madawi gold. Went straight to an outlet here and tried it on my skin, it was so beautiful. Definitely not the typical rose oud combination as resalah and shaghaf oud.

How was the smell of the oudh wood burning it looked amazing. I have burned sandalwood on charcoal and it burns like regular wood seeing the resin bubbling is mesmerizing.

Hey Cheraye!! 🤗 I love Arabian fragrances. My favorites are Paris Corner’s Bayn Al Asrar, dupe to Amouage Guidance but much easier to use - airy, lighter, just beautiful! If you didn’t care too much for that weird opening in Guidance, then you may want to get your nose on this. Another favorite is Lattafa White Intense - same vibe to Gris Charnel but feminine. Ugh, I just love it! Another fave is Zimaya’s Taraf. It’s reminiscent to La Rose’e with a citrus vibe to it. I love it! SOTD: Miss Dior Parfum. Not my favorite from the collection, but it’s me and hubby’s 31st anniversary and he picked it out for me. 😊
