Love this platform over the tubbed out chassis of the traxxas Xmaxx. Kudra says it's hot lol. Come to AZ where it's 105-118 for 3 months straight 🔥 Also the Outcast 8s is the best stunt and backflip machine due to it's shorter chassis.

That truck is awesome the maxx slash loves to eat gears with a 6S going to try dropping it to 4S I think 6s is just way too much power it just keeps eating the gears definitely want to get one of the Arrma trucks one day

Really good review, man. It's cool when the Kraton catches the tranny of the landing on the dirt jumps. I think you've sold me on one of these. You should try to get an affiliate link from Arma or one of their retailers. You could get kickbacks for sending them customers.

Have both the 8s Kraton and Outcast, plus the Redcat Vigilante. Always crowd pleasers at the RC park.

@scrubbasher6418 all are running great. I have to be honest, I do not do extreme bashing. I jump em around the motocross track and of ramps in a field. No 30 - 40-foot jumps on concrete for this guy. The Kraton tracks so well and just eats up the track. Vigilante is a V1, so a few bugs but still excellent. The Outcast is just its own animal. I would not get rid of any of them.

I own both V2 8S's, and i must say the Outcast 8S V2 is my favorite of the two, and its not even close. I guess it's personal preference LOL, the Outcast 8S V2 is Godzilla LOL. Oh and dial back or turn off the AVC, those beasts dont need it IMO.

Totally agree, the Outcast I think is better, I love backflips. I got M2C shock shafts, pistons and CVDS. Going to make it a MegaOutcast when it gets cooler

@@KUDRARACING 2K on these two and not ONE second of buyer's remorse. You could even go with the EXB roller, some are floating in the wild, then just install 1100 or 800KV. I prefer 1100KV on punch 8. They are so much fun bruh, be grateful for all of these cool things bro.

Do you know the differences between the 6s RTR and 8s RTR…? Is it size and power system or just bigger power system?

The 6S is close in size to the 4S. The 8S is just massive, whole other truck completely.

Yep, the K6 is much smaller power train. The K8 is MASSIVE. It feels like equivalent power to the K6 but twice the size. It really impressed me… the suspension is 👌

Max 5g2 with 800kv. Keep punch at 3 instead of default or higher like people say, and diffs keep better and still able to gap people.

did you check and see if the chassis is still straight? should have checked it before and after.. most metal ones bend and don't go back like the plastic ones do... just Saiyan..

Thanks for the video! I'm muddling over whether to get the Kraton 8S right now because it's on sale... My issue is that i have the Kraton 6S that I love. If i have the the 6S, is it worth it to get the 8? I have a bunch of cars/trucks that so have different uses and my concern is that getting the 8 will be pretty much the same as I already have and I will just stop using one or the other. Anyone with both versions have any thoughts?

100% Get the K8. Its a totally different truck... super durable. Bump the Punch setting up to 9 and maybe some other tire options like the JConcepts Magmas... oh man... way too much fun!

I purchased the Kraton 8s and the Traxxas XRT ultimate. The Kraton fell apart within an hour of use. Waste of money. The Traxxas is still intact.

If it really "fell apart" you're doing something wrong and shouldn't be driving an 8S rig lmao. Traxxas is tougher, but the Arrmas are a more badass and fun platform according to most. Traxxas is a pain in the ass to work on when it breaks, and it breaks just as often, just in different (and more affordable) ways. And for $500 more, I would sure hope the XRT Ultimate takes more punishment 😂😂

@@K5_RC According to most? So you are basing your response according to other people’s opinions. I own several 8s RC’s and I haven’t had any issues with them. I never had any good experiences with Arrma. Neither have many people that I know. My XRT Ultimate is definitely superior to any other RC I’ve owned and it can definitely take a beating.
