They nerfed the arties, but not the missions... Also, if u count, with a 800alpha gun, u hardly can dmg 400, this is the balance?? If u have 900dpm at tier7-8 arty than i said too much. Also the stun thing is can be fun but for FV304 for example there is no stun(!) but with piece of shit dmg and range, the curve doesnt solve everything. Also with the wheelies came, whole game changed again.

Arties shouldn't be in the game to begin with. I came here to see how ridiculous it is to have such an impact on a game, or just to annoy the shit out of people, and all of this while chilling at the back, moving every 30 seconds if needed... how is that fair? One player sits at the back ans just clicks on you, and another one is active and actually plays a game that has more to it than just clicking on red dots on a minimap

They werent ever op Arty was balanced by the fact that their accuracy was trash their reload sucked their armor sucked their hp sucked their pen sucked compared to fv 215 183 hesh shells 230 pen and now wargaming nerfed the one thing good about arty..... damage per shot Edit 2 years later : Arty must be removed... indirect fire is unbalanced.

Ah yes, and they actually made the thing worse by buffing most of the aspect that you mentioned; now arties instead of splashing you every a minute or so, you get hit directly with laser like accuracy for an arty, that encourages camping in my opinion, think about it, their argument is: Getting one shot from full hp is OP but that actually is totally bullshit, I played wot for almost ten years and I rarely got one shot by an arty, the only people who gets that fate is the ones who excessively camp behind a bush the entire battle with out moving, people with good stats will make it really hard for you to hit them, add the horrible accuracy and what you get is splash damage. They submersed arty deeper into the support role turning it into a bad class. Relying on you team mates whom can not shot for shit is no fun. Now, instead of getting one shot once every a thousand battle, people get stunned. They ruined it.

how is it op? it does barely any damageit has a extremely long reload terrible aim time and dispersion + artillarrys never get good armour since the t18 hmc as even the tier X gw e100 is on an e100 hull but the e100 hull only has 40 front armour? yet its the exact same hull + arty has very low hitpoints and usually somewhat slow and cant turn fast + has limited fire angle for every high tier arty and most low tier arties

The only best is when there is no artillery in the game. It is still op. I look at the stats after the game and the arty gets amazing stats for camping. It just stuffs the game. Lost count of the number of times I have been one shotted in middle of having a great duel with other actual tanks. there is nothing you can do about it except complain so I do. People say so play arty yourself. I would rather take up lawn bowls snooker or chess. And that means never.

Grahame Nicholson the whole point of playing arty, is to stay hidden, and to camp. Your whole argument towards arty is null in void if that is your only argument towards them. I think it’s ridiculous how premium tanks are allowed into matches with non premium tanks, but hey, we all still play.

Do you usually tell people their opinion is "null and void" because you do not agree with them? must lead to some very funny conversations. I know arty players defend arty because they get big scores with op vehicles and do not have to go into actual duels with enemy vehicles to get those scores. Fine but people who do like dueling with each other absolutely hate it when arty just hammers them from miles away in the middle of their fun. Can you not understand that is a valid opinion? Well of course you can't when you are doing the hammer. You are having fun the tanks are just stats and you don't give a flying f..k. Well most of the WOT community looks at the line up at the start of the game and sees arty players and thinks F>>K. Or sees none and thinks YAAAAAY a fun game. Because actual tanks want to have duels with each other is my point. As soon as an actual tank comes out of hard cover "boom". My point is that arty is a kill joy for the 95% of people who play tanks in WOT. My argument is that the big majority of players in WOT hate arty and would vote arty out of the game if given the choice and my null and void opinion is the reason for that. You seem to think that you can declare an opinion null and void because you don't like it. I am well aware that I can not get rid of arty and the 5% of players who play it and get ridiculous scores with this overpowered vehicle will not stop playing them because of my opinion. However I can and will continue to state my "null and void" opinion. It is ridiculous that in war arty shoots thousands of rounds to hit a tank and maybe damages one. A real tank hits another tank and kills it in one shot. Yet in WOT arty one or two shots a tank.every few rounds or even 2 tanks if they are close together. IT is a crazy op weapon in WOT that the designers made a very poor decision including in the manner they did.

@@heroninja1125 Okay you don't get one shotted most of the time, it is true, but what actually happens is worst. You get killed slowly but surely, you are constantly damaged for 200 to 600 dmg and you are stunned for arounf 15 seconds. All this happens, and you litterally can't answer back, unless you decide to be a mongoloid, to rush the enemy base and to die 49 times out of 50 because the game doesn't work like that. The annoying factor is that there are the pepole (non SPG players) who play the actual game, and the others, arty players who play a totally different game which consists in looking at red shapes in 3rd person position, click on them, do a bunch of damage and hinder them. There is no problem to it exept one, the red shapes are actually real people who play their game, "world of tanks" , and whose experience is being trashed by other players who play their own game, world of "I fap on other people and ruin their fun". And arty players play their game, at the expense of non-arty players, while non-arty players just play aigainst each other, while being constantly bothered by arties We've recently seen that WOT has a pretty good BOT system, which they showcased inside the temporary gamemode "battle for berlin". I sincerely think, and I am dead serious about this, that wargaming should put arty players inside a match making with bots and let them shoot them as much as they want, while the boat shoot each others and try to reproduce an average game. I understand that as an arty player, it is not entirely the same hitting bots and real people, but as the technology gets better and better, I really think that this could be a suitable solution for the health of the game, while being a 95% similar gameplay for arty players.
