As I continue to test these apps and the many plugins I use, I thought I'd give an update.... Since this video, I have deleted Audacity and Audiolava. Don't like Audacity for too many reasons and Audiolava is fine but I already have Acoustica. I have found Ocenaudio has plugin issues with IK Multimedia and Softube (except when using them through Waves StudioRack). Even Twistedwave has issues with IK plugins. Wavelab has been solid with plugins so far. Amadeus Pro/Lite has issues rendering Softube even thru Waves StudioRack but not IK plugins. Waves, UAD, Tonebooster and Fabfilter Pro Q3 seem to work fine with all apps. Waves StudioRack is great. I hope this bit of info helps.

Thank you so much for this video! I have been a longtime Twistedwave user, but I've just gone way over my budget for subscriptions. Did you ever determine which one you like best out of this list?

Fortunately Twistedwave is still working since im usually one OS behind. I tend to open Ocenaudio often but not sure i’ve decided which one is best. I would say, definitely have ocenaudio on your system since it’s lite and you can run it for free. Hope this helps!
