Spent the last two weeks going back and forth between the Fortes and Focal 4s… I went to buy the Fortes. The focals were not even up for consideration, but they blew me away. There were genres that Klipsh did not reproduce as well. The Evos played everything well. Clear and detailed, but not clinical or dry at all. If there is a Goldilocks speaker between the Klipsh Heritage line and BW/Kef, this is it. I took my own Leak 230 amp in to test both sets on it. Man. What a great combination! The GM at the store stopped in his tracks and said, “Whatever amp that is just added $3000 to,those speakers!. It’s making those Arias sound like Kantas!” I still love Klipsch, but I went with the Aria Evos.

Great reviews, I like the approach Fyne is taking to get bass in smaller packages. Haven't heard them in person though. I do have Focal 826 W anniversary floorstanders. Honestly I don't think I'll ever not have them. I run them with Unison Research, Unico amp and a nice set of vintage tubes you guys had during a warehouse sale about 5yrs ago, simply astonishing sound setup😊 PS, I recommend adding an artist to your sound sampling tests for vocal testing, one Angelina Jordan, shes from a whole other galaxy, seriously. She can "channel" anyone from Adele, Whitney, Lou Rawls, Elvis, Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse, Rhianna, Michael Jackson, Screaming Jay Hawkins, Nina Simone, Patsy Cline, Chris Isaak, and 100s of other vocal masters. She's doing her own stuff now via Republic Records, still a pup at 18yrs old with more than 500 cover tracks and originals since she was 7yrs old. You will be blown away, it can be a religious moment at times ( Suspicious Minds, I Put a Spell on You) with her vocals and perfect timing of emotional inflection and interpretation😊 You can be the kids that turn Kevin onto a vocalist he wouldn't expect and will die happy knowing you introduced her to him 😉 I'm gonna go listen to some music now😂🎶

My favorite speaker under $5k is $25k used. Sasha DAW, worth every penny and it has transformed my audio to another level. Save up and you’ll be pumped!

@@upscaleaudio I do own some heresy’s iv’s and I love my Hana umami blue from you guys. It’s on my Sme 15a and after a month or so of playtime it has transformed better than… I just don’t know but it’s transformed into the best cart ever

I love the forte but 5k? At 3K it would be a fair deal for these speakers.

Own the forte iv’s paired with a tube phono stage and tube amp. Nothing but pure analog warmth. Love them. But poorly recorded vinyl is very transparent. Also placement is everything with these speakers.
