Best Automatic Chicken Feeder Ever D.I.Y

I’ve got everything completed except the upright posts. What hardware did you use to join the uprights to the horizontal poles and to space the poles from the wood at those junctions?

Thanks how did you attach the 2 angled side pieces to the long side pieces on the bottom? An inner support not shown? Or are they only attached to the back piece and via the front pieces that go across (and not to the layer below)? .

Hi Thank you for your comment All my poles are connected with bolts As you might notice the vertical pole at the back is connected using two bolts The top one goes through the wood and is attached with a nut on the inside The bottom pole is attached to the vertical pole also using a bolt As you move to the front of the feeder The top pole is attached directly to the lid I just used screws for that Drill through the pole lining it up with the lid and screw thigh You need to put spacers on the bottom pole so it does not rub against the wood The foot plate I used two pieces of wood but you could also use one piece So the bottom pole I drilled four holes into that two hole for each piece of and them just screwed those in I hope this helps you out Thank you so much for watching Really appreciate it 😊👍

Great project best thing to use is wire mesh however not the cheapest specially if you have a big chicken pen in the process of making one right now best thing about this is its mainly made from wood and i have allot of wood lying around the yard so thanks for your awesome video

Thank you so much for watching.It is fantastic for feeding the animals I use them for feeding my dogs 🐕 cats 🐈 and another for the wildlife.It keeps the food dry and fresh no rodent droppings in the food The only thing I did different on the other ones is I made the opening twice the size so they can get their heads in to reach the food Sorry I did not do a video on those ones.They work extremely well 😊Good luck with your rescue cats they will love it Plus the great thing is it holds 15 to 20 kg of food depending on the size of the food I only have to feed them every 2 to 3 weeks
