Agree that Nissan Micra XV comes with CVT gearbox but the price is too much to ask for, for a brand that is almost loosing it stakes in the market. With very less and somewhere no service centers it also becomes a hard one to own. Whereas a little over spending of 40 to 50k could get us Honda Jazz V CVT. Giving us an overall package and car owning experience.

@@manishpandey6287 Honda cars, agree feel much lighter. But an Autocar India article dated 28th Jan 2015 stated that Honda jazz gets too safety rating. Further, the overall quality of a Honda car is much more better than those offered by Nissan. However, for a city drive Honda jazz definitely offers better drivability.

@@MultiAbinash a miracle; is what happened bro.. after 1 year of my car standing in the basement (no spare gearbox available anywhere other than the 4 Lakh company option. So, i went to mayapuri to look for a 2nd hand one many times.. when one fine day a gentleman there have me the no of an allegedly genuine mechanic incidentally close to my house only who could possibly fix it. I was very sceptical but since I had no choice, I went to him.. he charged me very reasonably and the car started moving atleast albeit with jerks. He assured me that after 500 kms or so.. they'll be gone. But, that didn't happen.. he said wait for 2-3 k kms. They'll be gone. I waited.. but they were yet not gone. But, atleast I could drive my car.. although with the great in my mind that it could stop working anytime. I was not very upset with the mechanic coz in any case you can't trust anyone nowadays. Other mechanics were not even willing to give any guarantee but this guy gave me his personal word. Then just recently the MIRACLE happened.. the jerks stopped and the car is running absolutely smoothly; touchwood 🤞. Kids back to being the fantastic little hatchback that it is. Go ahead and but it.. you'll love it ❣️. It's not given me any other trouble in 10 years now (6 actually; as it was not driven for 4 yrs out of 10..1 yr now and 3 yrs COVID). WARNING ; just don't allow any Tom, Dick or Harry to change your gear oil or even worse open your gearbox.
