I have a mono vertigo for my bass and I have an original Mono Flyby that I have used daily for 3 years. The backpack is a tank, and I always seem to have enough room in it for everything I need to lug around with me.

I love my two Mono M80 Guitar Cases, but, I wish they would expand the colour ranges. Especially for your backpacks and messenger bags. I reckon they'd look great in Ash for example.

I'm a DJ who works weddings, bars, clubs, etc. I have their Classic FlyBy, and it has lasted me very well since 2019. I actually was in a bad accident with my car flipping over a couple of times, and it ONLY had a slight rip on the front corner pocket. So as far as durability? I haven't found anyone close to matching that. With design, it's been the perfect one for me. It's allowed me to carry what I need to have for my gear, and it's been a workflow of a design I can't imagine not having. I even tried a backpack from a brand VERY popular with DJ's because it's designed by DJ's. While it was a great bag, it just...wasn't the Mono Flyby design. It didn't have the flexibility to do so many different set ups, and with what I use as a DJ ( I am also a live sound engineer and I record video content, I carry gear with that in mind), it just wasn't working for me. I'm excited to eventually pick up this Ultra. Good video on it my guy!

Yo! Loving the content, thanks for making this one. Would you recommend the FlyBy Ultra over the everyday/travel backpacks made by PeakDesign for carrying a midi, headphones, and a laptop?

Appreciate the love, my friend. Short answer: FlyBy Ultra. I think it's a better quality bag and will EASILY hold and organize the gear you mentioned. The long version: So one of my good friends has the peak design bag. I wanted one of those for a long time and I have to say I'm glad I didn't get one. No shade to Peak Design, I think it's a solid bag for a lot of people, I just personally don't love the layout of the peak design bag. Also, over time my friend's bad has worn out, which is to be expected, but the sturdiness of the bag has really diminished. I think he has one of the first bags PD put out, so maybe the quality has improved over the years, I'm not sure. This is just one example, so definitely don't base your decision on just my experience, but I'd be remiss not to bring that up. I've only had the FlyBy Ultra since about March, so I can't really say how the bag holds up over time, but so far so good. I've taken my bag on hikes (especially the break-away, smaller bag), flown across the country 3 or 4 times with it, taken it on gigs, etc. I'm really happy with it and can definitely recommend it. It is a HEFTY bag though... It fits under an airplane seat, but it's a BIG bag. So keep that in mind. If you need something sleeker and more compact I might look elsewhere. Otherwise, I think you'll be happy with the FlyBy Ultra! Cheers!

Too expensive. Even pricey companies like UDG and Magma are cheaper. The whole "review" seems like an ad for Mono. A more critical investigative approach would have been pleasing. But well, i never take review too serious where the reviewed product was donated to the reviewer.
