Fritzzyme 7 Is the only other product that claims to have live bacteria. I have used it with great success to get a tank cycling fast.

Caridinas are great. If You will start to play with mixing them it can be a lot of fun

Diatomite ? because bacteria can be only on something from the bacteria perspective ;)

Yes but usually they will vacuum dry media that were used for bacteria growth like cellulose. If there are bacterias on this diatomite, think they grow it on othere media then disolve in water and filter out with diatomite.

yeast is very good for feeding shrimp You can also buy inactive yeast (dead) and shrimps will love it

didnt used in shrimp tank. MST claims it can raise ph so only for neocaridinas

Could not comment for some reason on your riddle. The video you linked in the end is for neos rather than caridinia, and I am not sure if it's the second mistake but you did not mention the first product's name and I for one do not know it
