Since availability sucks where I’m at the Shogun costs the same or slightly more than the artisan fx zero. Which do you think I should go for? I mainly play cs2 but I do enjoy some tracking games like the finals and overwatch 2.

I didn't try them but artisan are said to be the absolute best so at the same price the zero is probably the pick but hearing from someone that tried them is probably better to decide

No, it’s definitely a medium pad. That’s why it’s so good, it’s a control pad that doesn’t feel too slow or like it restricts your aim. Seems like it would be great for this guy.

over all very different, therefore I didn't do a comparison in my video, but if I were to be held at gunpoint in order to answer the question, I'd say the Control V2 is slightly slower

I'd say overall slightly slower than my ZERO SOFT, but they are difficult to compare, the Control V2 is very unique

Im with you on the size as i keep my water bottle above my mousepad so the square kind of screws it up and its too much estate i don't use anyways. For whatever reason, the local standard is 60cm depth on table tops which makes the matter worse. I tried to find bigger but with no success unless i buy custom real wood and spending 500-700€ is a no-no for extra 10-20cm. Couldn't find even 80cm which seems to be the standard in many other places.

Personal preference. Apex is not that "fast paced" to beging with. If you seek to have frictionless experience, go for speed, if you prefer to have sense of control, go for control its really that simple. The games you play rarely have much to do with your gear, its all preference really. Even in Aim Trainers, you see Matty on Raiden, many others on Skypad/Shidenkai and many on something like GSRSE, GSR, AC Zero, Artisan Zero, Saturn even the ultimate slow pad Whale Rizz.

Talking about size, I feel like mousepads are getting huge. 400mm should be the max width in my opinion, luckily the extra 20mm here would just barely fit between the edge of my desk and monitor stand.

The talk that Poron pads are overpriced I don't think makes sense, an Artisan costs 32€ (49x42) with a Poron base which is more expensive than any other material used and with extreme build quality (continues to be the reference in terms of quality that all brands want to have). And more artisan is a brand that is always trying to evolve and create, unlike all these new brands that are constantly appearing on the market just to make money. This infinity mice costs €33 (49x42) its even more expensive than an Artisan

Not saying PORON pads are overpriced, but that you can get the same experience with PU blend bases for much lower prices. Let me know where I can get that Artisan for under €33 though 💀

@@jakeufps I'm not saying that this infinitymice pad is bad and has no quality, but nowadays any pad that comes out on the market comes at the price of an artisan (which uses more expensive materials, and because it remains better than 99%) or close and people think it's normal and they still say it's cheap at the moment on this market, an Artisan has never been so cheap. Now responding to where you can buy an artisan for €33 in Japan, and I compared both original sites, an artisan costs €32 and infinity costs €33. Artisan shipping costs €24, at Infinity it costs €60. Let's do the math in the end, which is more expensive? Artisan 32+24+taxes=68€, Inmice 33+60+taxes=115€ but you can buy it for example at max ok, 45+11€ = 56€, it's 12€ cheaper than an Artisan (in which it uses more expensive materials and where the labor is done it is also certainly more expensive)
