Nice! I just recognized your name....I watched your video about Hunter at Spoke X like 2+ years ago and it led me to buy a set of wheels from him. Drove from OC to Temecula open my lunch to pick them up! Now, I'm researching for a buddy on an entry level eMTB and here you are again! Nice video - U'm convincing him on the YT over the GasGas he's wanting for $200 cheaper. Seems like this is the bike to get at the current $3499 price tag

It's not expensive if you actually use it on a regular basis. It's worth it for the smiles and the miles not to mention the experience and memories to be had. Totally worth it. 👍 13:21

@CalaveraChronicles What's up bro since you have experience with an e-Bike? Do you think a 625-watt hrs battery is enough? Because canyon right now is only releasing bikes with 625 batteries. They said maybe in 2 to 3 months they will have an option with a 750 battery. What do you think 625 is enough?

@@Striveon247 which bike is the one you’re getting again? My friend has a Levo that came with a 640. I feel like he last just almost as long as me but I’m on full boost. I think he manages to extend it. You might be fine. It really depends what you do with it. We do a minimum of 4k climbing in 16 miles. So it’s pretty steep. Is the battery something you can upgrade later? I saw that some of their bikes come with 700-900 batteries.

the skipping in the high gear is your B screw to tight , loosen it up enough so it wraps around more the last cog without letting it too slack. try it...

I tried that. I even tried my buddies derailleur(same one as the one I have). Even slapped on a new edh hanger it still did it. Oh and new chain too

You’re going to have a blast brother! Do you normally ride an xl? If so I would definitely wait for an xl. But if you ride a large and got a large you should be fine too

I had a large core 5 on order (i ride medium yetis and Santa Cruz’s). Had a chance to ride a L decoy and found the seat tube to be too high for my short legs. 😢 I ended up canceling my order and now looking at the new canyon.

So at the time I was on a budget and the holidays were closing in too. The core 2 was $5900 and the core 4 was close to $8k. I also had analog bike and e-bikes weren’t as welcomed as they are now. So it was a happy medium getting something not as expensive. The 720 wasn’t available yet also. To be honest if the sale was going on at the time I probably would’ve picked up the 4. It’s all good though. I get to learn how to work on an ebike as I upgrade and do maintenance. I also get a chance to feel the difference in the upgrades. It does suck missing out on the sale by over a month but I don’t regret buying the decoy at all.
