100% agree - best mod ever to do to a AWD car. I've tried a few on my cars over the years.. Neuspeed, SuperPro... but the worst quality one i had was from 034 Motorsport. The powder coat flaked off within a year and started to rust. :/ Hope yours lasts better..!

I replaced this sway bar on my Audi A4 1.8T that I modified to 300HP and aprx 300 ft pds trq. I purchased an RS4 rear sway bar and it made a huge difference in how it handled and the lack of understeer it produces.

Blake I've always said nothing good comes out of California, except for your vids. I was a staunch Toyota man for most of my life and now I have the 2018 crosstrek and I really like it so much so I'm looking at a new WRX also. Audi looks so nice. Great work brother!

Hey Blake, I watch a lot of your videos and find them helpful so thank you! I ordered an "ultra Racing" strut bar for our car after watching a video Kamil and I must say you should get one! its made a very beneficial difference in the steering response and feel. It removed a lot of the front flex in the car. Its a cheap part so if you see this you should try it! I don't think you will be disappointed!

Hey Blake. Just picked up an MY17 Rs3. I see you have jack stand on left side Can you explain how you got it on jack stand. I was under the impression the jacking points do not allow enough room to place a jack stand along side the trolley jack??? You advice appreciated. Cheers mate.

How did you make sure that your z3 rack was on center on ur e30. I'm doing a z3 rack on mine. Its a 1988 325i and I was told I can't keep it on center. I can't take it to a shop my pride wont let me. I'm set on doing it myself. Any tips will help

Hey Blake! looking at sway bars for my S3. Why did you choose 034 (Solid) over APR (Hollow)? I know APR sells a front / rear set which is a benefit.

So reason why I went with 034 is they track with all of their parts and tunes and fully abuse all of the cars. So durability wise I trust them more also they do a much better job on engineering the product than APR in my opinion.

Been thinking of this mod for a while. Won't ever track the car or do autocross, but want a decent street car that handles better than stock. Think this is worth the upgrade? I've done sways on my MX-5 and it helped with handling. Hoping this would do the same on the S3.

There is about 6 different Quattro systems. Haldex is just one of them.

The true Quattro system is on the longitudinal engines and R8 and the haldex is for all others ie A3/S3 A1/S1 Q3/Q5

Hi, I got the A3 sportback 17 ( FWD ) and I have installed UB of unibrace and it really added hell lots of stiffness on the car body, now I'm gonna add anti sway bar. I got a question I am looking into H&R front & rear anti sway bar and 034 anti sway bar, which one do you think is better ? another things is 034 only got rear bar, no front ones, and I heard a lot of voices that you need to change both front & rear at the same time to get a balance , and to avoid different strength between front & rear, what would you say about this ? If i'm only getting the rear one, I'm going with 034, but if i'm getting both, I would pick the same brand ( H&R ) on both side thanks!

O' Malley you don’t have to change both at the same time. I come from an SCCA auto-x background and some classes limit you just to one sway bar change. Since you are FWD definitely get the rear bar first. Try the “soft” setting first to get a feel for the change in suspension dynamics and then try the harder settings.

for a a stock fwd or awd car, upgrading for a stiffer rear sway bar really helps counter the understeer. if you at the same time upgrade for a stiffer front sway bar it counters the upgrade of the rear. you should opt for and upgrade of the front sway bar later on when you have upgraded tires, suspension etc. to not loose so much of the benefit of an upgraded sway bar in the rear imho. so difference between front and rear is really helpful on a stock fwd or awd car regarding the understeer. you should look to balance out the difference later on as you would have better suspension, camber setup and so on and then go for an upgrade on the front sway bar.

And.. you still got a FWD haldex car :))) You can do what you want, that golf rs3 will never become audi and that pseudo-awd haldex, will never become torsen :)) Audi and quattro starts from 4 series.. until there, audi cars are just rebadged cheap vw platforms.

+Tony P I was, don't you think?! not golf rs3, but golf tt rs, which is exactly the same car.. even a little bit lighter. Neither feels like PERMANENT AWD car in ANY circumstances! Go to drive a s4/rs4 or subi STI.. even base model wrx. Those cheap to manufacture "awd" haldex, is a garbage.. faaar from reliability of torsen or any real awd.
