These larger bonuses from Citizens seem a bit more personalized. They sent me one for $700, $350 and $350, but I didn’t jump on it and the offer code expired at the end of April. I checked their website and their Everyman offer is only $400. Sure enough, I just found another one in the mail for the $600 offer like you so I’m going to go ahead and sign up for that one.

Bro this is what I started doing too along with the SUBs for CCs it takes a little effort but well worthwhile. The 1099-int is not bad when you have a 1099-NEC as well or an LLC to offset all the taxes.

Chase $300 Citi $300 BoA $200 Yes, I paid some taxes No, I didn't pay fees or charges I had my direct deposit split 4 different ways You can enroll each Bank with a unique zelle account to move money as needed to main account to pay bills or maintain balances. I don't plan on doing this again for a few reasons but I went aggressive to see how much I could make.

I had a targeted offer based on where I lived and then the next day my account was flagged for fraud and they wanted me to go into a bank to prove who I was. The drive. Was much longer than I was willing to make. Luckily, after about 2 hours worth of calling, I was able to get things resolved through knowing how to speak with banks.

Question: when you dif the PNC bank bonus did you change your direct deposit from your main bank account to PNC or how did you activate direct deposit for this bonus?

Questions to think about say you do this. Is there a minimum amount of money you need to have in the account not to be charged a fee? And second question is do these banks charge you any monthly fees for just having the account in the first place?

Yeah I look at their minimum requirements too and honestly some are fairly simple to up keep. Like US Bank you need one of their credit cards. Or WF just $500 min daily balance. But yes I look at those requirements for sure.

@@MrHawaiiboy510 oh yeah it is, but I don’t want to give the bank the chance to take back the bonus or worse so I want to keep the accounts open for at least 6-8 months but I will keep them open without having to pay the maintenance fee in that time. Also if i need to be on the safe side and need to keep the account open for a year, it would be with no fees and minimal effort hopefully. Just a little strategy that I am implementing doing this. I treat it like the credit cards where you don’t want to close before 12 months kind of thing.

Most of the bonus offers I’m seeing are saying direct deposit has to come from an employer. Do you just avoid those or what’s the work around?

Doctor of Credit keeps datapoints for which banks count as direct deposit. Its so cool. You could push $2000 from Wells Fargo checking to a Citizens Bank Checking and Citizens Bank will think it was a direct deposit. Thats pretty much how it works. Google "Doctor of credit bank bonuses"
