My family has preffered relationship with HDFC with a good balance and 4 accounts with them, oldest since 2007. Recently visited to open a Sr.Ctzn. savings account for a family member in which MAB is 5k but branch officials asked for 50k initial funding. It is not unfair. They totally overlooked the business they are getting from us & could further get by adding another account. So we came back from branch. I am thinking to close the entire portfolio with them and provide to bank who actually want business and could regard their customers.

I have salary account in both ICICI(Later converted to saving) and HDFC(Current Salary). I completely agree with you ICICI i-mobile/net banking is way ahead of it's time. And HDFC specially given one Relationship Manger, I just call them to do all my banking services. And the tone and respective private banks provide to their customers, I dream to get that in SBI. SBI just don't give any shit.
