It depends on which shoe. I usually go half size up with most of their products, Encore however is TTS. So you can get your normal Nike US size for that one. Cheers!

@@TommyLiu4Unfortunately I was only able to perform a light shootaround session with the tag to be able to return it. it felt like the superior version of the GT Cut 3 at lower retail price. much bouncier but softer cushion with better lockdown and support. But i had the pinching issue in the left shoe’s toe box. There were some loose material at the stitching area which would fold in to pinch my foot whenever my foot entered. Wasn’t happening all the time, but enough to make me wear and unwear the shoe several times to get it right. Surprisingly only happening with the left shoe and it was the case with several other pairs as well for the cherry blossom colorways.

Got the encore blue and sabrina 2. Very good looking shoe specially the sabrina 2. But the encore is amazing. Lockdown, traction top tier, lightweight. There's a little pinching but after breakin its really one of the best for 2024.

Same problem with stitching part of wade all city 11 encore. It's so annoying. We feel it as we have something called a bone spur. Did you have that. If yes did it eventually break in and the pain go away. I might have to cut the shoe just so that bump isn't painful

What a great list to begin my research. Early 40s (bad knees) bball-returner, playing kind of guard forward / swingman. Looking for a snug fit (narrow foot, high arch) but a toebox with a high "ceiling" (big toes pointing slightly upwards). Any advice? In almost any hoop shoe that fits lengthwise my big toes touch the upper materials. If I size up, my foot tends to slip and slide inside the shoe unless I lace them so tight that the uppers start crumpling (which I hate).

Hello, I would recommend the New Balance HESI LOW V2 & TWO WXY V5. In that case you’d probably wanna avoid the Curry’s, and All City 12 Encore since they may feel like the uppers are pressing down on your feet (not ideal for a high instep).

My overall width is below narrow on the scale of the shoe stores. While having more of a high than a normal arch (footstep is pretty slim in the midfoot area) the instep is still on the lower edge. But then my big toes counteract to the silhouette.

Worth a try! NB hoop shoes have all been incredibly good for me. EQLZ is pretty unique, turned out better than I expected I have to say. Man that collar is stretchy lol

Oh they’re very different shoes. I think one should decide based on bodyweight and priorities - lighter, traction DON Issue 6; heavier, cushion Dame 8 EXTPLY.
