I’m so glad that you came out with this list because it is highly needed and appreciated right now because of the cost of hair right now. Tbh I am confused as to why we can’t get the rastafri hair on the east coast too. It looks beautiful online and we want to try it lol 😂. I’ve been using mayde afri natruale and septra hair. All because of the versatility of styling you can do with it. And where I live at… some of those brands like lulutress and other products are not available. You have to go online to order it. Model model is a love and hate relationship with me but their bundle hair needs work!

Soo i spoke with a Black woman (Ms.Tay)that I thought owned a beauty supply store. I only saw Black employees which is why I went there. Come to find out, the owners are Korean and the only hire Black employees. 4th time this happened to me. Ms. Tay said they do it on purpose because they (owners) have been losing business due to competing with the internet. The convo came up about why there weren’t other brands of hair instead of the usual. She said the owners refuse to order, make contracts with Black businesses. If you have a fav Black owned product, most of the time you will not see them. Sometimes it’s location but racism does still play a huge role.

The freestress beach curl seems different now. It frizzes a lot more. I also noticed certain colors frizzes more too. So weird
