This is the perfect starter package. I bought a NewBeeDrone AcroBeeV2 FPV kit ($250) and imo the setup was way to much for a beginner which resulted more frustration than fun when starting out into the hobby. Do yourself a favor, but this kit, save yourself the headache, money, and the hassles of learning betaflight when all you want to do is fly.

Hey Grayson quick Q: I am ordering extra batteries for the quad. How long does the lipo for the goggles last, should I buy extras, and what kind of charger? I'm learning that LiPos don't want to be undercharged, don't like to be overcharged, and don't like to be left at full charge for an extended period of time. Thanks!

All depends on how many packs you fly. The goggle battery will last a few hours of moderate use.

Great video. I am interested in learning to fly r/c airplanes. I think it is really great you emphasize line-of-sight as the starting point. The FPV will be fun, but it leaves a gap in your learning curve. Also, by suggesting such an inexpensive starting point, it costs almost nothing to quit if I find out I can’t do the right/left, forward/back switch. Now, if only it were in stock.

I do not normally fly quads...I have a few , only one I have flown a lot is the 200 QX ....have wondered about FPV, but as you guys mentioned many talk about Price, most is out of each just to try....this seems to be a great starting point just to get into FPV...here is my issues..Great goggles I assume that can be used with multiple aircraft....but what about the FPV transmitters or receivers ?....I see evidently the board on the quad has that built in perhaps ? as all you did was plug it up.....If i wanted to use the FPV Cam set up on another aircraft say one of my many planes ( as that is what i fly most ) ...what is the range on this system and or what would I need to make that cam work on another model ? and btw Thanks guys for putting together a reasonable starter set up to get into FPV . I have just never really researched much about FPV and what is needed is why i ask...Thanks in Advance

Great Question as we mentioned in the video, This is the Real Deal system, not a toy, the gogles will work with all FPV products. Distance will be determined by the VTX (Video Transmitter) on the Plane, quad, car, etc. The goggles are just the receiver. But at the field we fly, 200 yards out we still get great reception on an airplane using a seperate 200mW VTX. (not this quad) I hope that answered all of your questions.

How does this drone kit compare to the Eachine E013 Micro FPV RC Drone Quadcopter With 5.8G 1000TVL 40CH Camera VR006 VR-006 3 Inch Goggles? Is the quad any better? Obv the goggles are a step up, the other kit seems to have a nicer controller. Can you install the camera before shipping? What is the shipping time to Michigan from Georgia? 2 days ground? Also what is the white drone on your KZbin home page with the pale blue props, its very much my style? BTW on another video I was telling you about the temperature, well in 24 hours we had a 87 degree swing. We went from -40 to 47.

Milos Martinov if you crash and bend the copper parts on top of the antenna you will lose video when you throttle up. Just look at pictures of this antenna and straighten it out

hey man, please help me! i got the wizard, and turnigy evolution controller. ive done my best to set it up (first drone ever) and i think ive done most things correct. now, the problem is, that when im in airmode, and i give it some throttle and then push the throttle back to idle, it just keeps accelerating to top speed. when i switch to angle or horizon however, the problem does not continue. i have no clue how to fix it. recap, throttle a little up, drone accelerates to max speed, does not respond to throttle down. not presistant on other modes. if anyone else know a solution, feel free to answer.
