I've had the single one-up rack for two years and couldn't be happier. I've used the custom locking system with all locks(including hitch lock) on one key. It's a great system and easy to use as the carrier has never left my hitch except for cleaning and lube.

Great video! I had a 1up on my list for a while and this convinced me to get the Super Duty. The hint about getting the single bike one and the add-on is a great idea because sometimes it's just me going biking.

I've had mine for quite a long time now and have used it a lot and have done some serious off-road adventures with heavy electric bikes and it is the best rack ever! Super durable and it still works perfect. Can't say that about other friends who have a different manufacturer that I won't mention.

Thank you! this was a very informative video. I am contemplating this one and the Quikrstuff Mach 2; however, the Mach 2 is more expensive all around.

Great video. Thank you!

Nice! If you slide the wheel lock in the middle, it doubles as a ramp.

Interesting! I'll give that a try. Thanks

I will buy this rack. I was going back and forth between this one and the Quick Rack Mach 2. I like the features on this rack better (from what I saw here and other videos). Thx

I am finding the Allen screws back out on the lifting handle, have reinstalled and lock tited them twice in 4 months. So far love the rack.

Good video. Covers everything. I didn't get the wheel locks as the worst I'm going to do is stop for a beverage at 7-11 on the way home. If I do need to leave the bike longer if fits in my van. For the occasional overnight in the van (usually a rest area or basic campground) when I need to keep the bike on the rack I have a a chain lock (Kryptonite Evolution) that I most certainly am going to wake up if someone tries to cut it with a angle grinder.

Hey thanks. Totally with you on not leaving our precious bikes out unattended very long. Some areas are sadly just too dangerous to leave bikes out as the bad guys have angle grinders that can cut nearly any locks :(

Looks like a great rack, but I have a 20” fat tireTroxus Lynx Plus and it has fenders. Will this work? How low can you move the part that touches the tire?
@mellowjammer24 күн бұрын
Front fender should almost never be a problem, but a longer rear fender on a commuter-style bike could be a no-go. Otherwise very nice rack although there are extra loose parts (locks) and it is not tool-less like some others.

I plan to add the Wheel Chocks to my 1Up USA New Super Duty and will add a video for an update. Any experience from you bikers on those yet?

Has there ever been an instance of the bolts that connect the trays together breaking? Seems like a week point for heavier bikes.
@fourbrothersgear2 ай бұрын
The bolts to secure the trays are monsters. 1/2 inch width, 13 x 1.25 long. I think as long as you pay attention to weight ratings - no worries.

Is this worth getting over the regular heavy duty version. Also considering the Quickrstuff but it’s so much more expensive. I do not have a bike with super fat tires so how wide the trays are is a bit of a distraction of me.
@fourbrothersgear2 ай бұрын
Tough call. I think the new slide mechanism and ease of one hand operation is a big improvement over the Heavy Duty, as well as the increased distance between the trays that makes it easier to load 2 bikes w/o conflict. Another big difference is how the arms open wider, making it easier to load and unload bikes. I do agree that if you aren’t running any Fat Tire bikes, the wider trays aren’t a big deal. Last thing - and I will be doing an update video on the Wheel Chock accessory as I’ve picked some up and think that for heavy e-bikes, they are pretty useful to help keep the front wheel from shifting in the tray due to weight. Not absolutely needed, but super helpful.
