Recommend removing rotors before travel. I have the evoc pro and did not remove mine. Both needed to be replaced after. Also need to store handle bars carefully. Mine chipped some paint off my frame. Think wrapping some foam or bubble wrap would help.

Thanks so much for the review. This makes putting bikes away locked up easier too while traveling. I have 4 bikes and traveling by vehicle. Makes transport and even securing them for security purposes easier if we happen to be away from camp this would make storing 4 bikes in truck, car, or rv very easy.

a little confused about you saying the pro is lighter than the classic. According to Evoc website the pro is a bit heavier.

Thoughts on taking out the air from the shocks and tires? I've heard people say air pressure increases in high altitudes and damage shocks and tires.

Sea level atmosphere is ≈15psi absolute, most commercial planes are pressurized to at least 11psia, completely unpressurized at cruising altitude it as low as 4, so expect 6 - 11 psig increase in any pressure on your bike. probably not a problem for most things unless you are running right at the upper limit on tire pressure.

Going through the logistics I think using a regular bike cartboard box and a) ask some local taxi driver to meet me with the box at the airport on my way back or b) rent a room on my first and last day there and leave the box with them.
