Ilya Alekseyev aka " Slavic smith" was so impressive. He just had to make a spiked round shield, but made it with an I integrated steel gauntlet. True perfection. ❤

Burt Foster should be on this list. The guy won multiple times even on the Beat the Judge episode. Side note, he even was the mastersmith that administered J. Neilson's test for MS.

Although Ben Abbott is undefeated, I still believe the youngest 2x champion Colton Arias would give him a run for his money and would be an awesome competition!

the best one i saw on FIF was a guy that made it to the finals and lost because his handle was round. he was later invited back and lost again for some reason or another. he made near perfect weapons that i think intimidated the judges.

Hands down Kyle Royer. True blade Master.
@mrb7982Ай бұрын
Kyle makes masterpieces however it is not fair to compare his work to forge in fire pieces..... Kyle takes months to finish one blade, forge in fire does it in 5 days.

Ilya is a fine smith, but he's an elitist prick. He went out of his way to go through the competition, and won, but only ever bitches about how it's not "true smithing" of course it isn't, it's a competition, not a Blade Show.

I think that Ilya while a great artist is too much of a perfectionist to do well in the competition format of Forged in Fire.

Slashes and hacking on armor with a dagger is dumb as hell. That's not what a dagger would be used for.🤡🤦
