Thanks for the book recs! I love hearing people talk about books so I hope you post more bookish content! :) Thought I’d recommend some books in return based on what you seem to enjoy: - The Good Daughter by Karen Slaughter is a thriller/mystery that really delves into family dynamics - Near the Bone by Christina Henry and it does have some horror elements to it but I want to recommend it nonetheless lol - Goodnight Beautiful by Aimee Molloy which is a thriller (I’d recommend not reading the synopsis and just going in blind for this one) - Home Before Dark by Riley Sager another mystery thriller that is about a woman going back to a possibly haunted house that her father wrote about.

Great picks Chelsea! Same here…I read a lot of different genres too altho not too keen on fantasy or horror. But mystery, non-fiction, classics, and memoirs are my fave. I’ve read most of the books you listed. Right now I’m reading the Elena Ferrante Neapolitan novels (4) which was a gift from my sister. Bookreads is the best! for keeping track of books read and TBR. Enjoyed this video.

I didn't used to read fantasy but I started last year and I am really enjoying what I have chosen thus far. I am trying to broaden my reading horizon; my younger years I strictly read romance. Goodreads is a fantastic place to catalog books. XOXO

@@chelseagaray Hey thanks for your reply! One book of fantasy I did enjoy and recommend is ‘the House in the Cerulean Sea’ by T.J. Klune. You are right to keep an open mind cuz you never know when you might find a gem. Will add to my TBR on those from your list that I haven’t read. To quote Frank Zappa “So many books! You're great at book reviews, Chelsea. I have read Firefly Lane & the one in your description that you didn't mention, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. They were both great, but, I especially loved Eleanor. I'm going to follow your suggestion and order The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo because I've looked and debated ordering that for a while now. I read another book by Taylor Jenkins Reid called Daisy Jones and the Six, I'm sure you've heard of it; it was just ok for me. I believe it's on Amazon Prime video as a series now. Look forward to your next video. By the way, I'm expecting my package with the tank dress you showed from Target, I ordered it in navy. xoxo 💖

I cannot believe I forgot to mention Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. I adored that book so so much. It is definitely in my top 5 of the year, if not top 2! I hope you enjoy The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. The story is well flushed out. I don't love absolutely everything the story portrays but the writing is fantastic. I hope you love your dress! Love Colleen Hoover:) I recently discovered a new “thriller” author thanks to “Blonde Tea Party” (KZbinr). Author Lisa Jewel. On my 2nd book by her. I could recommend so many fabulous books but once I start…….down the rabbit hole I go lol. I will definitely add these to my list:) I’m a kindergarten teacher and I devour books in the summer. I read 3 books during March Break 😳- easier to do with grown children lol I LOVE your channel! And just gotta say…..that colour of sweater looks gorgeous on you! I read a book by Lisa Jewel this past year. I didn't include a few more titles that I just remembered I read and enjoyed...oh well, another video! Yes, the "books I want to read" list is very, very long. I read 13 books last January. Did I even get off the couch?? Well, a good book will do that. Thank you so much.
