@@jthbooks Can you believe I completely forgot to look it up when I went to the library today, and yet I came home with six new reads. 😂 So now I have 12 library books to read before mid august. And apparently 12 is the limit as well. Who knew!

@@jthbooks I looked it up and apparently one person can have 50 active loans at the same time, but only borrow 3 books per 7 day period. And the period of loan is 4 weeks usually but 6 in the summer. So I understand that I am now not allowed to borrow more books this 7 day-period. That's fair. But, the math isn't mathing. How can someone even have 50 books at home if you can only borrow 3 books a week? 🤔😅

Hi Jack! 😊 You do look very dashing! It is always lovely to hear someone talk enthusiastically about something they really love, be it books or anything really. I've shared before that I'm also not having an outstanding reading year so far; I don't know if I've just been bad at choosing books for myself or I've simply become a more fussy reader, maybe a bit of both 😂 Still, it is worth it to go through some so-so books when you finally find a special one that blows you away! Cinema Love is the one I'm most excited to get my hands on and I'm even more excited seeing that you put it at number one! I'm sadly refraining from buying books at the moment, but it should be available at my library from September, I can't wait!

Oh my goodness...it did it again! I wrote a long comment & it did not post! Basically, I just said that perhaps the fact that you have often felt underwhelmed this year with many of the books is because you are growing as a reader. Not to mention, as you get older, your outlook will change. If every book gave you, "that feeling" it would cease to be a big deal...🤷‍♂ It was fun, however, watching you describe this set of books!
