For me it would be: (and I havent played both Demons Souls and Sekiro) DS1: O&S because while Artorias is a great fight too, O&S have established both the standard for duo fights and they were the first true second phase boss DS2: Fume knight, while he did not revolutionize any aspect, I think he perfected some of the already established ones, such as a first phase that teaches you the basics to deal with the more brutal 2nd phase Bloodborne: Ludwig. To me there is no contest, the design, the music, the lore, the arena and the mechanics are all almost flawless, I never get bored of him and I never want to kill him, that's usually a sign that a boss is great. DS3: Slave Knight Gael, it's a concensus at this point that Gael is the best not only in DS3 but in the whole series, and for good reasons that I am not going to mention because they have been mentioned hundreds of times before. Elden Ring: Mohg Lord of Blood. While my favorite fight in Elden Ring is Malenia, I have to admit that Mohg is the best designed boss in that game. I really love the emphasis of positioning in phase 2, and the fact that you have to mind your positioning every second in order for him not to both throw bloodflame in a way that will annoy you, or that will force you to back on the sides of the arena where the gravestones will become an obsacle for you to navigate through. I love a boss that demands awareness in positioning and Mohg is the pinnacle of that! Great list and great video ❤

11:05 HARD DISAGREE HERE 1st is Gael 2nd is Midir Very close between those 2 but i just think that nameless king is overrated, a decent fight compared to some terrible fights in the game and has it’s place in the good fight category above all the mid game fights 1st in base game is harder to decide and i’d say it’s a 3 way tie between abyss watchers, nameless king, and lorian It’s hard to compete with the exhilaration of gael phase 3 Midir is the hardest boss in the game and despite being a dragon boss it doesn’t feel like one because of the midir combos and feel very smooth to fight Friede would be my 3rd pick still above base game as not as good as the other 2 but still an amazing fight compared to the base game finding it’s place in the legends of the series

NK in ds3 is not even remotely the hardest boss in the game, it's just that the atrocious p1 makes u so anxious you keep on throwing because of that crappy dragon. Gael wasn't the hardest either, but personally he's definitely my favourite one

Respectfully, Bayle is far from the hardest in the DLC, unless youre considering Scadutree Level 0. And even so, it wouldnt even be comparable to PCR, mainly because of character visibility.

@@jordandthornburg you can say that. But you can also check the recovery frames, openings and etc of the bosses, then deduct which is the hardest. Most of the difficulty from Bayle I've seen online comes from finding him early.

@@ExalNysta you can’t though because others will be more accustomed to fighting bosses with quick recovery frames and so it won’t be as challenging as for others. There is always subjectivity in the difficulty of a boss. It isn’t a math equation one can do.

your list was pretty good but I would put gael over nameless king. Also from Elden Ring I think Messmer is the best boss I know he was an honorable mention but his fair but challenging boss fight and moveset is phenomenal.

The DLC was far more balanced than the base game tho. The bosses are better telegraphed for the most part, they have clearer punish windows too and fewer misses imo

I'd agree with most of those. Artorias is a single non-punchbag boss in the game (well, he and Manus), Fume knight is the only boss in DS2 with actually good variety in moveset, in DS3 I prefer Gael more, he is stronger, in Sekiro I prefer father Owl (inner version for the most part), and Bayle is the best fromsoft dragon, I like fighting dragons in general and this is a 9/10 dragon.
