lol jokes apart but its the "hero/saviour dynamics attration". Combination of how you were loved as a child, and how you perceived the love was during your childhood- on top of that getting validation from bollywood/hollywood rom coms, make some people sub-consciously believe that the "saving" is loving thus they start looking for people they can "save". Also the reason why alot of girls love bad (f bois) boys and alot of boys love the girls going through mommy/daddy issues- "I can save him/her" moment. Basically, one of the things you can do is, turn that emotion into the love language of "act of service" thus way even when dating a secured person, you can show your love through the act of service, it would not feel as fulfilling or Fireworky as "i can save her" energy but true relation is not suppose to be rapid fireworks anyways.
