I had to cut out the discussion on gimmick puppet to save time, but essentially, there is so much GY hate this format, people will play belle, crows etc for FK, I didn't want to set myself up for a line that loses to the same cards. My whole deck Is about being able to beat the interruptions that are in the format, droll, ash, imperm, and having good engine that can do well I think was more valuable than a inconsistent-ish lock

I don't like branded build with frightfur package, played a lot with it, and it can be bricky. Right now I'm testing build with nadir, crossout and thrust ;p and i really like it, there are a lot of hands where you can go into gimmick puppet lock 🤓

Did you ever seen droll with 49 cards? Another question, don’t you think 1 cartesia isn’t enough (considering 49 cards main deck obv)

I see droll enough times, and going 2nd I side in more HTs. I was debating 2 cart, tbh it comes down to preference I like 2 in red, 1 card, but it's definitely more common to see 2 cart, 1 in red

If I play masquerade I play Despian theater… it just vibes really well, if I got branded fusion in hand and I got Aluber I’ll go for theater and have extra plays I also run duality and nadir, Maximus works with nadir and duality and I can get dragoon out easily

So main deck droll is there for Fire Decks as resolving it does more to them than other hand traps, I also think it's the best HT this format Yes frightfur package plays into droll but very little in the deck does, and you almost never use it first. I think the card advantage is too important. Puppet was a consideration but I felt it played into the GY hate this format

Not gonna lie boss... this list aint it imo 1 Cartesia Frightfur package with very few summoning options in droll format 2 Branded in red with, again, very few targets the list seems too bloated and inconsistent (with a weakness to common anti FK techs) to compete in this format...

I clearly explain that the list plays through droll just fine even with the frightfur package. I also explained that with fusion deployment and quem access you essentially have 9 ways to Cartesia which is plenty. 2 is fine though I also spent plenty of time explaining why I play 2 in red and even said it was personal preference and that 1 is more common List is very consistent with around 76% chance of find a starter, not including the convoluted ways to get to a starter Deck has performed exceptionally well and plays through a lot 👍

⁠​⁠@@MattOsheaYGOnahhh but I gotta agree with him, this is a really standard and basic build. There’s no Gimmick, no Dragoon, no Nadir, and you’re playing the patchwork engine. Just no spice. I mean if it’s built around a specific deck (fire kings) then fair but it’s not just gonna be fire kings, it’s not a tier 0 format yet.
