Today Carol and I are in Wyoming at a KOA, which is right beside Devils Tower. After my morning coffee Carol and I set out to do a hike around Devils Tower which is a must do. After our hike we head back to the KOA for breakfast.

Chicken fried steak is actually a cube steak (which is a steak with tenderizing cuts in a diamond format) which is breaded fried and smothered in Country gravy (which is a milk based gravy) has no chicken in it whatsoever. Is just fried like fried chicken

Ken is confused by Chicken fried Steak.... Its literally what the name says... Steak that is breaded and fried the same way you would chicken...LOL... Typically a tenderized round steak is used...

I've never seen chicken fried steak with so little gravy. Usually, they drench it in gravy. At least they do in the South. .

Man if you get a good country fried steak at Cracker Barrel, it's amazingly good. But it can also be incredibly dry and tasteless. Depends on who is making it and what time of day you go if you ask me.

Likely the steak for your chicken fried steak there Ken was probably a cube steak that was tenderized in order for it to be battered breaded and fried.

Chicken fried steak is my favorite meal. The gravy is typically a sausage gravy. I remember your Devil's Tower climb video, I think it was one of the earliest videos I watched here!

Agreed. Carol’s sole role should be the cameraman. She bring so much boredom to the channel and is a very childish eater too if anyone noticed. Must she always blows on her food like a child would? Her meals are always so predictable. It’s always basic scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast. Lunch and dinner would be something my 5yo would order. Nothing spicy or peppery and it killed me in a video where she just got ketchup on her burger lol replacing her with Ben is a great suggestion or even Paul. Or just go back to doing your videos like before but in the states/ other places in Canada is you want to travel. Just some suggestions.

I do kind of miss the fast food menu item reviews, but i think the channel has really outgrown that. Even the 24 hr stealth camps are few and far in between anymore, but Ken almost always gets back to the basics eventually. At least these videos are good for a bit of variety.

Yes sir Ken, here in Tennessee we have biscuits and gravy quite often as a stand alone item for breakfast. But more than not though I will have eggs suuny-side-up with it. And I love my eggs like yours, up and run my toast and fried taters thru the runny yoke. Thank you for sharing these videos, I am not able to get out roam like I use to and your videos give me the chance to feel like I have been there.

Chicken fried steak and eggs or maybe the breakfast burrito-especially if they make their own green chile sauce. CFS&E should have the same sausage gravy (not chicken gravy) as the biscuits and gravy. I've never seen it with tater tots, usually shredded hashbrowns. Makes sense though, everything was from frozen on your plate except the eggs and bread. It probably gets lonely out there in the off season. The chicken fried steak was probably a brand called fast fixin'.

not been to wyoming accept for yellowstone highly worth doing to Ken. theirs a Koa by the park or go stay in the park. do your homework on the park as far as amenities. koa is full hook up. seen moose,elk, their buffalo 🦬 or bison will have to stop 🛑 for them. but yea t-totally worth it the geysers. being that the geysers some will admit a sulfur smell to rotten egg. especially old faithful mud pots parks always changing some geysers quit running lava tubes collapsed some others start back up again. y’all are in wyoming need to go.

Loved this video Ken! Been missing seeing you and Carol having a nice time around the country. To alot of you being super negative need to look at your own channels, do you produce any videos?
