I have the original XL and little one as well They are a blast. Look up clear hockey tape. Its really good for sealing the lid and easy to remove as well. Has that same rubbery feel.

It’s not designed to turn better one direction; it is due to prop rotation. An RC boat with counter rotating props turns equally both directions. Looks like a fun little boat!! Nice video!
