The Vredestein Quatrac is a very quiet comfortable tire, however, be ware that your gas mileage will likely drop. Mine dropped by 3 mpg compared to the Avid Ascend GT.

I don't care if they don't last. I would rather have tires that handle well and have to replace them every 2 years than put up with a 💩tire that last a long time and doesn't handle well. I hear what I would look for is a softer compound. I have Defender 2s on my 2017 Rogue Sport SV and I am not sure I like them. What makes me even more sensitive to bad handling is I had a 2013 Passat before the Rogue and I should have kept it since it handled a lot better. I don't remember what tires it had but I think I can confidently say they were not Michelin. If they were still the factory ones it came with they would probably be Continental really.

Pirelli all season, good tyre, quiet good in the wet have had them 5 years no dry rotting and 50 000 km or 35 000 miles. But mine were made in Russia, I live in Scandinavia.
