The orange rod combo is a 6.5/10 for me. Feels good, casts good, but the reel seat doesnt sit close enough to the blank and the reel wobbles on the reel seat regardless of how tight you get it. Tried different reels, same thing.

I got a Duckett Ghost rod on sale for 25$ last year. I shut it in a door, then sent it in and got me a Silverado as a replacement(they stopped making the Ghost). The BEST rod I have ever had. Then, again I grew up using mostly Zebco or Ugly Stick rods.. World of difference.

Hell yeah overnight catch and cook! I was gonna ask why you push the hook all the way through the soft plastic. I was taught to hook it into it and not through. Helps maintain a more weedless profile. Just curious ur thoughts as what we are taught isn't always right lol

Greta vid.Let me be perfectly honest. I have that reel and the 6’10” medium version of that rod. My Pro TI will stay on my Lew’s TP1 Black rod and I put my Lew’s Mach 2 reel on the HS rod. My Mach 2 was part of a combo but I broke the rod so I needed a replacement and the HS is a worthy replacement.
