i've always loved the national tree company trees, specifically because as you pointed out, they have two different types of pine needles on them, making them look and even feel more real. i put up three this year, all from the kingswood fir line, but i got the pre-lit ones. i have two 7.5 foot trees and one 6.5 footer. each one is a different color scheme, silver, white and blue.

TBH, Balsam Hill trees = overrated (and expensive). I expected a lot more from Balsam Hill but the cheap $70 pencil tree we got at Walmart is so full, beautiful and much more realistic than our Balsam Hill tree. 😒
