Just a suggestion, better concentrate on your product, what competitors are doing and if they copied or not is up to the consumers to decide. Looking at the tent it seems it would create lot of drag, which will have severe implications on vehicle dynamics and more fuel consumption, further if more weight but lesser drag is better while proving to be more durable, at the end its not rocket science to build or design tents. But do need experience and research. I have used variety of tents, the best fabric is Dyneema Composite Fabric DCF, by Avient, USA, which is ultralight weight and waterproof. I would suggest all prospective buyers to lookout for options, see the pros and cons and decide for yourself what suits your car and suits you. Dont go by anyone claiming to be the best. Its just a very common tactic to call yourself leaders/best/superior etc.
