I guess i7 will be too much also costly in a high end laptop . If you can afford go for it . Its completely your choice. I think a gen 12 i5 or maybe if you have a low budget and 12/13 gen i3 is good also.

For running machine learning and training models you also require string graphics. If ur budget is good buy a laptop with ryzen 7 or i7 Intel with atleast rtx 3050
