I wish I could find the old Lone Wolf stands.. I’d scoop them up in a heart beat. Only seen a few over the last few years and people want top dollar for them. Might as well buy a LWCG at that point. Great stands though!

I’m a newbie so forgive me…what makes traditional bow hunting so hard? Because the deer have to get so close? How do you feel about ground hunting for deer, have you ever done it?

Hey! Glad to give my opinion. Traditional bow hunting typically requires animals to be 20 yards or closer, preferably under 15 yards. The bows are much slower and a lot less easier to maneuver around it tight quarters. Compounds are still plenty of a challenge! But I believe a traditional bow is a bit harder-just my opinion. Ground hunting is fun! I have taken many animals from the ground with a firearm and a couple with a compound, but I haven't tried too much with my traditional bow. :)

You can get an XOP Vanish EVO for $179 and a 3 pack of Hawk Helium doubles for $99. Then throw in a XOP Mutant for $119 with all your ropes. Probably the cheapest, yet quality "enough" to be lethal setup

There you go! I see a lot of good deals on FB marketplace as mentioned. I just tell guys to look over all the cables and straps really well. Plenty of ways and combos to save money and still get an acceptable setup. Good luck this season!

@@jessejohnson_tx Thanks. I should have mentioned that the seat to my stand faces the tree and also doubles as a one sticking stick. Did it with materials I had for free. Saved a thousand dollars!
