Today I will be sharing with you the best accommodation option in Jaisalmer city. While planning our trip we came across this amazing property called Hotel Shahi Palace in numerous booking engine sites which had very good reviews. So we decided to go ahead and book it as we were getting it at a very good rate. To our amazement, it was indeed a wonderful hotel with a rooftop restaurant from where you can get an amazing view of the Jaisalmer Fort. The hotel is located in the central part of the city which makes it accessibility wise also a perfect place to choose. Reminiscent of a 500 years old Haveli with its beautifully carved stone doorways and windows, Shahi Palace blends old Marwari charm with the comfort of modern amenities. Sandstone walls and polished stone floors, each room has been individually decorated to recreate the romance of a bygone era. If you are considering to visit the city do stay in this hotel.

Yes other category rooms are available in the hotel. We booked a standard room but the management gave us an upgradation and alloted us Deluxe room.
