The only mechs who counter or somewhat counter redeemer are Guardian (redeemer cannot cleanse system crash), Orion with Stalker (You can't backtrack if you are dead), Gatecrasher with his sticky ion pod and Shadow, who has a small profile, stealth ability with no animation and who can creep up t him and blast him away. Surge and Hidezo won't work since one emits noticeable emp and second jumps making himself visible

Well Orion doesn't counter him since if he gets marked, he can easily just backtrack and remove the mark. Stalker does do pretty decent against him. And Shadow doesn't really counter Redeemer. Redeemer is also really sneaky, so you can sneak up on the shadow as well. And he has more hp than Shadow, so he can kill him way faster

Depends who sneaks up on whom first. Again, invisibility is no joke. You are ghost on mini map and EM rifle one shot in the back is a death sentence, same with Orion, you have fraction of a second to press the the ability before you are blown to bits by Orion himself or a rapidly approached enemy

Yeah, the meta is pretty simple. Just use arcs on Surge and disks on Stalker, and then put either disks or EMs on everything else

I have it! But I don’t want to commit to it. If there were more legendary guided pilots, that would be different. But because of his limitations I won’t put him on stefania or Neymar. I would love to use it on 2v2 but… I need more flexibility. It’s amazing that high SP guys don’t have it. It really is hard to get all the legendaries.

Tengu is kind of falling out of the meta. He gets wrecked by most of the meta weapons like EM rifles and disk launchers, and especially by Surge. He's also really only good in CPC. But Killshot with mortars and EMs is doing really well in the meta rn. You can also use the build for tournament which will help your progress a lot. I would first max your Panther if you haven't already, and then Killshot

@Twarique If I were you, screw Killshot and max your Panther. It might be expensive, but Panther EMs is the most OP build in the game. It'll help you way more than Killshot mortars will ever help. It's probably even better at tournament as well. I'd use every acoin you have on blueprints for Panther and the EM 16

6:20 , how do you prevent the disc launchers from locking on?

To prevent yourself from locking onto enemies with the disk launchers, just don't look at enemies in the first place. Because once you lock onto an enemy, it's tough to lock off. So don't look at them in the first place. I plan to make a video soon where I teach you guys how to properly use disks!

Btw, Guardian with disk 16s can definitely be replaced with something else. He's the best option for 2v2, but there are some better options in CPC and 5v5. Killshot mortars is probably better in 5v5. And Aegis disks and Tengu shotguns are probably better in CPC. The reason he was ranked so high on the list was because people are assuming you have the system crash range implant. With that implant, He's definitely the best. But without it, other mechs might be better

@Suryasis Nandy Wow! You're definitely on the right track! Your hangar is looking deadly! But the reason Orion isn't on this list is probably since there are so many other 24 energy mechs that overshadow Orion. Orion is a good mech, but there are mechs that are way better. With disks, Stalker is way better. Aegis, Panther, and Guardian can all be better with disks as well. And with EMs, Redeemer and Killshot are way better. He's used as a second option after these mechs

For Zephyr at 16 energy, the best build is arc torrent 10+6. You could also use dual missile rack 8 as well, but it's not as good

Nice video man. I've watched the other tier list videos as well and was just surprised at redeemer em12s hitting 3rd spot with 38 votes. Everything else seemed pretty accurate especially the em panther and stalker discs are 100% best builds in game rn. Btw u missed the 16th spot on the list 😂

Thanks bro! The reason Redeemer was ranked so low in the other tier lists was because people hadn't maxed him out yet and hadn't figured out how to utilize him. People didn't realize how OP he is with EMs until now. Now, he's dominating the meta and everyone uses him now. He's probably better than every other mech with EMs besides Panther. Panther is slightly better than him. And about missing 16th place, there were two builds tiee for 15th place. That means they take up both 15th and 16th place. It just seems like I skipped a spot lol

I think you forgot Killshot with Dual Missile rack 12s. It is the ultimate brawling combo and can destroy any mech pretty easily. I killed a maxed Guardian with my 6* killshot with missile rack 12 and 8 just yesterday. I think that build is underrated Btw, excellent list 😁🥵

Killshot with missile racks is a good early-mid game build. But my video is all the end game meta builds, and Killshot missile racks definitely isn't one of them. Killshot EMs is far better than it

The speed boost from Neymar MVP helps Guardian a lot. I'd suggest using Neymar MVP on your Guardian disks and use Stefania on your Stalker disks. Using it the other way also works, but Guardian benefits mote from the speed boost

Stalker disks: disk damage, disk reload, disk radius, and Predator drive damage. Panther EMs: EM damage, EM reload, cooldown, and duration. Redeemer EMs: EM damage, EM reload, cooldown, and EM range. Surge arcs: arc damage, arc range, Surge dash radius, and Surge dash distance. Guardian: Disk damage, disk radius, disk reload, and system crash range. If you don't have the system crash range, then use the ability cooldown

Well mortars counter disk launchers at long range, but disk launchers counter mortars at short range. So it's more of a 50/50 equal matchup. None of them counter the other. But I think I'll release a "How to counter every weapon" video soon where I'll go over the counters to every weapon

You forgot to mention arc 12 ares and the reason I say that is because I use ares with arc 12 in both deathmatch and cpc a lot and it's super good in cpc

Ares with arc torrents is good against bots for getting kills, but it's not that great against players end game. All the meta builds will destroy Ares with arcs. I'd suggest using the arcs on Surge instead because it's better against real players

But against some of the top meta builds like Panther EMs, Stalker disks, Redeemer EMs, Surge arcs, and Guardian disks, you have no chance. Those builds will shred the shield and the hp of the Ares, and the Ares will not deal enough damage to kill them

And most skilled players won't be in the open much. But with disk launchers, you can hit people that are behind cover. It's a way better build

Zephyr, Cheetah, and Brickhouse are struggling in the meta right now. And Orion is getting completely overshadowed by Stalker. He's undoubtedly better than him. And Bastion wasn't released at the time this video was posted. If I did this again, then Bastion discs would definitely be on this list

You can get mechs or weapons from the progress path where it shows up in your inventory, and you can purchase it with acoins or credits. But that's only for certain mechs or weapons. And then you can purchase every mech or weapon in the game with real money in the shop. And then, for new mechs and weapons, you can get them from event crate rushes. But to open event crate rushes, you need to buy tokens which costs real money. And then the last way to get mechs or weapons is to get them from an a-coins crate rushes. These usually come every month, and you can get a mech or weapon that's not on the progress path. To get the tokens for this, you can use acoins which is nice since free to play players can get them. It's usually around 700 acoins per spin, and then 10 items in the crate rush. So if you want to guarantee yourself the mech or weapon, save up 7000 acoins. I'd suggest doing this if you're free to play and watching my tier list videos so you know which mechs and weapons are worth it

I was suprised what mechs really shine at FFA, offensive abilities mech have the advantage like the gatecrasherdue to his additional damaging ability hitting the almost downed opponents Defensive ability mechs like panther and guardian are a bit lacking. Weapons like the graviton beam does wonders on it I have to confess I haven't tried Cheetah yet, so maybe there are better builds With the right builds you can easily get 30+ kills with primarely bots or humans with sub-optimal builds and sometimes get around 45 kills with a 6800sp+ hangar Quite a lot of people had really good high-end FFA hangars at the end of the tournament week

Ok, how many of these pros play 2v2 on a regular basis? Some of the builds they labeled "ok" are literally meta 2v2 builds and some or the "really good" builds are free kills on some 2v2 maps. Coming from someone that plays almost exclusively 2v2

Well, all the pros did was list their top 5 builds, and I used that to rank all of them from worst to best. But the viability in every game mode thimg was something I came up with and added later. It was my opinion, not theres. But the meta 2v2 builds are Surge arcs, Guardian disks, Panther disks, and Stalker disks. Those are for sure the meta builds. And then you can use Panther EMs, Redeemer EMs, Killshot mortars, and Killshot EMs as well. I guess Tengu is also pretty decent in 2v2. I probably should've put him as "good" rather than "ok"

But for something like 2v2, you should ask players that play that mode regularly becuase most prople done. Youre severely overrating GB12 off the bat, only realm its comparable to AT12 is when you have multiple people using gb, then if the opponent is playing well positionally ATs dominate GBs. Honestly surprised Orion didnt crack any top 10 builds but upon review only build that was voted on was EM12 which is kinda redundant cos you dont need the dmg buff from orion to 1 shot most things. Orion AT12 or DL12 is an absolute crowd clearing machine

Really? I think GB 12s are just as good as arcs if not better since they have more range (66 vs 100 meters), longer mag (7 seconds vs. 21 seconds), higher DPS (8k vs 6k at base), and they don't rely on implants like the arcs do. With the GBs, you only need the GB damage implant. But with the arcs, you need the arc damage, arc range, and the arc mag. The reasons arcs are better is that it's better against multiple enemies, it's better against sheilds (implosion doesn't work on shields), and it has the shock effect on aiming (doesn't help much). I feel like the GBs have more advantages over arcs. I'm an arc user, but I would switch over to GBs on my Surge if I could. It's a heavily under rated build that's OP. You can put the Surge dash distance, Radius, ability duration, and GB damage as your implants. With that combo, your Surge GB will be OP!

@@GangsterJabs if youre playing against bots 100% however when your against actual players gb really suffer due to the requirement of maintaining constant line of sight to charge the implosion effect. In that range of 67-125m for GB that AT cannot reach if someone is near cover they are going to go straight to it and let the implosion charge cooldown before re-engaging. They have their upsides 100% but once you are going against people who arent running out into the open and are utilising cover and positioning you are effectively using a higher dps thermal lance. Unfortunately backloading the bulk of your DPS is not ideal.

Not trying to knock the video btw think it was well put together however think some noteworthy builds werent accounted for namely EM Stalker and DL and AT Orion. 100% agree that people are sleeping on Aegis but i think its a case of a lot of people who have used it are bad at placing bubbles.

The question was which builds are meta, I have to agree EM stalker for example is extremely overkill and on its own maybe the most overpowered build in-game, in meta it doesn't occurs that often because people prefer to use different weapons as there are plenty of viable 24 energy mech options, while those others aren't as great with disks. Maybe after the implants removal discount more/new different builds will occur in meta.

But this tier list was meant to get the top 10 end game meta builds, and that's only against players. Orion isn't as good as he used to since there are so many other 24 energy mechs that are better than him with every weapon. With EMs, Killshot, Redeemer, and Surge are better than him. And with disks, Stalker is far better. Unless you absolutely suck with disks and can't get back damage on enemies, Stalker is definitely the better option
