I know this is an older video but I must comment. I can believe nothing you've said as you did not show us firewood processing, you used a lighter not ferro rod to start your fire, and you did not say "bushcraft" 1438 times. 🤣 For real, great video and I just ordered the set.

Joe’s grate is described as 4” x 10” stainless steel going for $39. If this is stainless that’s an excellent deal for $17!!

These are some great grills. I have used one for several years in more then one way. Using a frame less ultralight pack , I used it as a support ( every little bit helped ) inside the pack against my back. Now I use my air mattress since I switched over to the Vargo Titanium Bi-fold grill.

I like your vid. But use a your watch to time your steaks and you won’t over cook them. They were way to small for 5 min a side

Great video. I have the cooking grate you have and the one Joe Robinet sells. Robinets version is more robust and I guess just built a little more solid (made to last). Food for thought ! Cheers 🤙🏽

I've been using the larger grill for years. I Absolutely love them and I would recommend the grill to anyone. What I like to do is get a fire going, dig a hole close to the fire, put 2 logs or sticks beside hole and place my grill on the sticks. I will then use coals to cook my steaks, prawns and scallops and boy does that ever turn out awesome. I'm buying a couple more grills today

I have the large grate. It works well in conjunction w/ my backpack Wood stove as a top for it. Just gives more cooking options. So grease doesn't get in the stove mainly. Good Video!
