@Aaron.Monroe4 ай бұрын
@@sierragutenberg You can ONLY customize the DECOR, not the dimensions and other features. Also, to even customize the decor you'd have to see what it is you're customizing. An idiot of your caliber wouldn't understand that, so you have to resort to always trying to be a smart ass but only looking like a dumbass in the end. By your logic, no one would see the inside before the product purchase, just buy and customize later. Only to a fool like you does that make sense.

This could have been such a great video, but wasn't. First half was basically inaudible. There was more turbulence with the camera than that aircraft will ever experience. NO reasoning at all on the camera. Weird zooms on cards and chairs, quick pans on a camera that distorts angles so a small tv appear super wide. 15:05 what the hell were you trying to film here, a fly buzzing around?

Appreciate the feedback! This definitely didn't have the production value we would've wanted as this was my first time at BACE so wasn't sure what we needed. Had I known we were going to talk to the Captain, I would've asked to mic him as well. We didn't have the space to ourselves, no prewalk through or time to get Broll. I didn't have my gimbal to make the shots smoother. Great feedback, though! Keep it coming. Also, that TV is quite a large TV for the space.

Nice plane, but frankly I would rather have the smaller cabin jets like the G700 or Global 7000 with their higher performance mach .85-.90 cruise and far lower cabin altitude for reduced jet lag and comfort. Plus the Gulfstream is soooo sexy looking nothing can match it's aesthetics.

In case of emergency, I wonder if all those doors are not a threat to the safety of passengers, to reach the emergency exit one is forced to pass through those doors, and what if one remains blocked for some reason?
@rufuspipemos10 ай бұрын
Honestly, I walked away from this video unimpressed. For $100M the performance is dreadful. 0.78 mach regular cruise? 41,000 max ceiling? Can only land at large airports, meaning long car rides to many destinations? The finishings look a bit cheap compared to biz jets 1/3 the price. You have to squat down in the shower? My guess is the cheapish finishings and veneer wood is to keep the jet lighter. If you used quality finishings of a G700 or Bombardier, I bet the range plummets.
@PersonalWings10 ай бұрын
Roy let us know which business jet you end up purchasing. We would appreciate your feedback after ownership. There are a lot of reasons that people pick the larger jets, such as Airbus and Boeing. Granted they aren’t as fast as some of the jets I fly, however their comfort, size, and operating costs can be less than the ones you mentioned. We believe the materials in the ACJ were of high quality, and comfortable. Owners can always customize to their wishes, with varying materials. Gulfstream, as well as other aircraft manufacturers use lightweight materials whenever possible. Each pound saved is then available for fuel or passengers.
@jimbo16379 ай бұрын
Purpose built business jets are generally built to a much higher quality standard than commercial airliners. (Higher cruise speed, longer range at the same size, lower cabin altitude, larger windows, etc.) The issue is purpose built business jets max out at about 16 passengers and 6' 2" of interior height. If you need something bigger than that, a concerted airliner is the only option...

I love that the cost of training hours for the pilots is cheaper then for other jets because it’s basically the same as an airliner. That and the cost and availability of parts are cost effective too. Long term financial planning works well for this jet. Saves you money over time.🙏
@richpickett7 ай бұрын
You can obtain a type rating in a Boeing or an Airbus for a fraction of a large business jet, and actually less expensive than many light jets. The competition between the large number of training providers makes that possible.

I want to add that I would also pay the Hermes group to make me a complete interior in my own way. pro: large cabin large space more comfortable, cons: 41,000 and not 51,000 like the global7500 and the G700, it is slower than these, hangar and runways could be another con, operating costs, you have to see the comparison between this and the global7500 and the G700, and it must be taken into account that it does not have the same autonomy, As an airplane lover I would buy this and a G700. In general, those who love to fly and achieve it can have two. great video

Serious Question: Why is there no EVS ?
@PersonalWings23 күн бұрын
There are EVS/HUD systems in some jets as you may know. Collins which provides the Fusion avionics in the 220 does offer a HUD, however this plane didn't have it installed. They are nice options, and having worked on the design of HUDs, are helpful in some situations. Dassault does offer them on their Falcons, as well as other manufacturers. If we find out about potential options on the Airbus 220 - we will update our reply.

Thanks for this video. But if someone is indeed looking for large jet, it's far better option to pick ACJ320 family over ACJ220. The cabin options are limited in ACJ220 while everything is customizable in ACJ320 family. Add to it lower maintenance cost & better lightning protection due to aluminum frame of 320 over carbon composite of 220. Also major issue is of engine, no point in fancy cabin if engines are unreliable which is the case with PW engines & are only option in 220 while we get CFM Leap engines in 320s. Pilot certification cost, ease of spares availability, bigger cargo space & go anywhere option with auxiliary tanks is big plus. Also A320 performs better be it snow or desert, same is not the case with 220. At the end of the day, I would give more weightage to maintenance engineers feedback over salespeople of jet manufacturers.
@PersonalWings10 ай бұрын
They are both nice aircraft, however the price point and market are slightly different. I definitely agree that maintenance considerations are important and one reason that airline jets may have an advantage over commercial models. Since the AC220 is relatively new, it will be interesting to see the long-term support capabilities and costs. Thanks for your input!
