Which camera, drone and lens, etc are you putting in the core unit from video ? That Will help me if my gear will fit in 25L with : - sony a7rv or a7iv - 70-200 gm 2 - 24-70 gm 2 - 16-35 gm 2 - dji mavic 3 classic - dji osmo action 4 Or 30l is more suitable ?

I have shimoda explorer v2 and rollerbag. I think it's great for landscape or wildlife photographer. However, when it is for urban camerabag , I think I have many other options to consider

Just a thought - you could have pointed out up front that this was only a Kickstarter offering and would not be delivered until next February; anyway, i love your channel and after watching this post a few times decided join the campaign for this terrific backpack, even though I will need to wait until February.

I really like my wandrd bad but this had a few improvements with a few trade offs. I like how the wandrd prvke lite lets me roll the top open to fit a rain shell jacket into it or whatever else. But having two slightly larger pockets on each side for water bottle or tripods is nice. The wandrd has quicker access to get your camera out. But this bag has a better design with the straps not attached to the part of the bag that your back touches. The wandrd zippers hold the entire load…

Hi Jeven did you have any problems using this as personal hand luggage? Strictly the 25l is a little bigger than most airline size allowances.

I also wanted to ask similar question. Since Im planning to have a carry on hard case luggage and L25 backpack. I’m not sure if the L25 will treat as another carry on where I need to pay a fee. The L20 is a bit small. I just need a confirmation if the L25 can treat as personal bag. Thank you!

@@JevenDovey i own the x30 and x50 action (v1) and eventhough i have to fork over 100$ for shipping (plus customs taxes -.- ) to switzerland i gladly pay that because i know what i will get. The only real difficulty is to guess if i need the 25 or 20 as i want a light daypack when i go on a citytrip with camera 1-2 lenses and maybe a jacket stored plus water... Looking at the sizes they give, the differences between the 20 and 25 are so small that i basically would need them in my hand to decide :D - ok and also wich color to take :D

Leaning towards the 25L but have a massive Sony 200 - 600mm lens and am wondering if it’ll fit in the 25L. Would prefer not to go with the 30L and have a massive bag to lug around 🤔

Im in this same predicament. I think the core cube (10.6" height) of that comes with 25L would not fit the 200-600mm lens with a ~12.5" length.

Shimoda's are great! I have the X70. inside i carry a rigged out BMPCC6K. I dont use the monitor any more and use NPF batteries. Also a drone and 3 days of clothes in a compression cube I store up top and the top is still folded down so they dont make me check my bag.

Why would you use this over the Shimoda Explore V2? Is the only reason aesthetic? - this new bag is heavier, thicker, no belt option and lower quality shoulder straps?

Looking at outside dimensions the new Urban Explore 20 is 25.38L vs Explore 25v2 at 21.34L Kinda hard to tell as Shimoda model# doesn't match their actual size in (L) Example: Shimoda's Action X70 HD, you think is 70L, but dimensions are actually 42L (31x59x23). If you add 7L roll top expansion making it 49L it is still far from 70L

You can add a hip belt no problem. The bags are for a lighter setup but if you need it then that’s an option. Also it’s the “Peak Design Capture” if you’re worried about the exact name
