This video is for a lot of my subscribers and followers who are constantly asking doubts and questions about buying cameras. I am going in-depth to explain the complex aspects of choosing a camera for you. See the video till the end to get the advantage of it.
There are a lot of cameras and brands available and they are used for various photographers for various purposes. Brands like Nikon, Canon, Sony, Lumix, and Fujifilm have DSLRs, Mirrorless, crop sensor and full-frame sensor.
Consider these points before finalizing a camera for your purpose.
The purpose, Future plan, Size of the pocket, Weight & Size, Sensor size and resolution, ISO capabilities:
The performance:
The latest technology in the image processors facilitates fast and great quality image processing, but they are available in advanced professional cameras.
The AF technology with artificial intelligence can make the AF ultra-fast and accurate. This is definitely useful for wildlife, sports, and bird photographers.
The capacity to shoot a higher number of shots per second, it ranges from 3FPS to 20FPS, 24FPS, is useful for action photographers like sports & wildlife.
Just buying a camera is not enough, participating a basic photography course will make your investment justified.
LCD:
A rotatable, large-size LCD touchscreen is something you have to consider if you are shooting at odd levels and angles. Most mirrorless cameras from basic to professional-level cameras have this facility.
Video capabilities:
Most of the DSLR and Mirrorless cameras come with the video shooting facilities. But some of them can even shoot 4K or 8K resolution videos with theatre quality. These cameras will be useful if you are heading towards professional video production or movie making.
At the same time, few of the low-end cameras are available for Vlogging or KZbin productions.
When your interest is also in Video, then you need to consider the video and sound recording facilities of the camera.
Weather sealing:
Some advanced-level cameras come with weather-sealed protection. will be useful if you are using it in rough and tough terrain or during a mild rain shower. This does not mean that you can drop the camera into water.

One of the advantages of APSC crop sensor (1.6 times) is it has built in magnification for lens so for a 400mm can give 400mmx1.6 = 640 mm magnification. But definetely one day, you will want to go for Full Frame.

Sir. What do you about the new Canon R7. It's a crop sensor with advance features and autofocus. I am thinking about upgrading from M50 to R7. This is not for professional use. Just wondering if I should consider full frame as the cost of R7 is a little more on the upper side. what do you suggest?
