There are a lot of cameras and brands available and they are used for various photographers for various purposes. Brands like Nikon, Canon, Sony, Lumix, and Fujifilm have DSLRs, Mirrorless, crop sensor and full-frame sensor.
Consider these points before finalizing a camera for your purpose.
The purpose, Future plan, Size of the pocket, Weight & Size, Sensor size and resolution, ISO capabilities:
The performance:
The latest technology in the image processors facilitates fast and great quality image processing, but they are available in advanced professional cameras.
The AF technology with artificial intelligence can make the AF ultra-fast and accurate. This is definitely useful for wildlife, sports, and bird photographers.
The capacity to shoot a higher number of shots per second, it ranges from 3FPS to 20FPS, 24FPS, is useful for action photographers like sports & wildlife.
Just buying a camera is not enough, participating a basic photography course will make your investment justified.
LCD:
A rotatable, large-size LCD touchscreen is something you have to consider if you are shooting at odd levels and angles. Most mirrorless cameras from basic to professional-level cameras have this facility.
Video capabilities:
Most of the DSLR and Mirrorless cameras come with the video shooting facilities. But some of them can even shoot 4K or 8K resolution videos with theatre quality. These cameras will be useful if you are heading towards professional video production or movie making.
