Getting S21 FE under 30k is a great deal and it can still be used as a primary phone, It's supposed to receive Android 15 and OneUI 6.1, It has a 2023 version with Snapdragon 888. It's still a much better deal than a it's successor S23 FE which has thick bezels, more weight and way more expensive and heating issues.

Especially on camera focused phones like realme 12 pro plus. 8 MP camera barely matches the required megapixels for 4K recording which is 8.2MP (3840×2160 pixels). Also, lower mega pixels on ultra wide angle cameras means images captured will be soft and lack details.

Its a good phone but only under 30k. A bit old but still beats majority of phones even under 40k price segment. Camera can be compared to pixel 6a, iPhone 12, S23Fe, Nothing Phone 2 and even one plus 12r. It has great video stabilization and takes great portrait shots too. Be aware that from what I know, its only going to recieve Android OS updates till Android 15. Its just slightly midrange version of galaxy s22.

If you want a very good processor then, you may go for OnePlus 11R as it houses the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 3. If that's not the top priority, then you may consider Realme 12 pro plus as it has the same primary camera as the OnePlus 11R. Even the selfie camera is better than OnePlus 11R. And the periscope telephoto lens is an addition which is remarkable. Realme gives Android 14 out of the box so, it's a safe deal right now.
