some people are having issues with the Pure3 system not working. at that price point, that is unacceptable. What good is a warranty if you can't get an appointment to get it fixed?

What happens if you’re boondocking and your battery runs down - how can it charge then? High idle? If so, I thought that the diesel motors aren’t supposed to be idle for a long time. Please advise.

The Mercedes chassis/engine does not want the alternator to run while in Idle only. If it did that wouldn’t be good for a diesel engine which will clog the Particulate filter. So, if you are boondocking you will either need to drive the RV and it will charge approximately 1% per Mile. Or you may find a place to plug in to charge the battery if they were depleted down.

You are very limited in the Class B space. Regardless of model/chassis.

Would like to know why the Boldt wasn't built on the 170 extended wheel base. Do you know which class B's are on the 170 extended?

The Boldt is built on the 170” wheelbase. It is just shorter because there is less storage in the rear of the Van. In addition to the Bolt, the ERA is the other Winnebago RV built on the 170” Mercedes sprinter RV.

@@colonialairstream Thank you for you quick response. A longer van would be longer living space and possibly a larger bathroom. I have heard the concerns about carrying capacity. Mercedes makes a 4000 or a 4500. Not sure on that. It's a step up from the 3500. Also there is a super single.
