As a student, you don't and shouldn't buy an expensive cars. It is just total waste of money. Unless you want it for job or uber etc. It is easy to buy a car but it is very expensive to maintain a car especially new and expensive European cars. You should only buy an expensive new car once you are settled, have PR and ideally have bought a house. I have done this mistake in the past, I am also a qualified Mechanic worked on Range Rovers for 4 years... Good video, respect from Melbourne..🙌🙌

Don’t go to local/small dealers esp Desi people they’ll definitely milk you for more money. Go to a proper dealer guys! Also if anyone is coming as a student don’t buy a car that’s more than 5,000 to 8,000 dollars as it would make monthly payments too expensive. Trust me insurance + monthly rent + gas + car + groceries..it will all get too much for students. So please be wise!

I have spent 15 years as student in neighboring US, where grad students are often better off in terms of money from on-campus GAships. Still, students without major parental support can rarely afford a car above $5K. In that bracket, there is no comparison with the reliability of an old Japanese car. I have had an Altima, a Lexus ES300, a Camry, and an Acura 3.5 RL--all gave great service for years. Also had a couple of Fords, which is the best US make. Koreans are another option, but their reliability has picked up after 2010. Forget about European cars--too expensive to maintain for poor students.
