Small suggestion to the Motowagon team, the video thumbnail says 10 - 15 lakhs, the Tamil portion of the thumbnail says 15 to 20 lakhs and title says 15 - 25 lakhs. This is quite confusing. As a frequent listener I don’t have a problem. But for new listeners such confusion will not be nice. Cheers!

The best way to save fuel is to drive less. It's illogical to pay extra for a hybrid and driving it more for the sake of breaking even. Eventually, you end up paying more EMI, more insurance, tyres, battery, fuel, and lower resale. There is no such thing as free lunch. Buy a hybrid if one necessarily has to drive more. Otherwise, whatever you save on fuel, you pay to the Bank.

Asir bro, you completely said the opposite for creta. Creta's AC unit looks more cheap both in base and top variants. The AC unit has a small digital screen and the plastic looks more cheap. But in alcazar the entire unit is in gloss black.

Please include quality control of Skoda,VW, tata in future...Most of my friends are suffering to the quality control issues and pathetic service quality. Surprisingly my friends reported good to above average service in Mahindra....This should be brought into discussion. The enthusiasts community is very tiny few and for them some excellent FNG service centres are there in Metros...My friend got his AC compressor replaced with high capacity outside after the frustration by VW service centre. I have a Global Fiesta and the Ford service is miles better than VW/Skoda/Tata even after leaving our country.

Skoda/ vw group always had QC issues but there is a group for it who will buy, we have a tdi where we changed injector for 50k and now the car has done 1 lakh above kms, but service wise they are better than Tata, you hit them again you get the issue solved, but Tata is a different question because they even don't know how to solve the issue.

@@Raveendhana it's not just budget, it's practicality and fuel efficiency. Any old city in India has narrow road markets, where Alto S-presso can drive easily with best fuel efficiency. These new cars just occupy space and create lots of traffic for just 1 driver driving the car.

Why people have apprehension about three cylinder turbos are, best eg this same citroen engine had its, issues with the timing belt eaten up by the engine and causing failure, later they changed belt supplier to make it more durable. So generally questions will be arised regarding three cylinder turbos

Also please explain if I think of buying diesel in 2024 can we use it until 2032? Considering what if govt increase diesel price to make people to switch to petrol or ev? As of now the goverment policy for gasoline cars is a bit not clear, ever for hybrid cars too, right now most states collect road tax for diesels for 15 years, but one thing is there is a case filed in Delhi questioning diesel ban, like that any rule altering the 15 year road tax will attract petitions, but as of now yes you can buy diesel and if you are not in metro cities even better

Actually more than cars and vans diesels is widely used by agricultural vehicles and trucks. For that reason only govt wants to push mass market people to buying alternative fuels than diesels. So the cost of diesel won’t increase since it will put burden on the economy itself.

MF team already made a detailed video on this future of diesel cars few months back. I own a diesel SUV bought recently. You are paying tax for next 15 yrs which itself satisfies govt is approving to allow next 15 yrs. We are not going to face pollution issues like Delhi in southern states. Diesel engines are being manufactured till date and even in future as well at same time govt May push to keep on improving emissions norms which manufacturers need to meet. So if you really love and need of diesel machines you can proceed .. no issues in future.
